Recently, the Sany 408P electric mixer truck equipped with Haixing Intelligent Driving Advanced Driver Assistance System ADAS has taken the lead in passing the actual vehicle test and certification of five regulations in the new GSR of the European Union, and is the first electric engineering vehicle product in China to obtain the latest WVTA certificate.
This marks that Sany electric mixer truck has obtained the latest market access permit from EU member states, further accelerating the process of Sany's globalization strategy and consolidating Sany's global leading position in the field of electric construction vehicles.
In 2019, the European Union promulgated the General Safety Regulation (EU) 2019/2144 (referred to as the new GSR), adding a number of new safety technical requirements, aiming to strengthen the protection of occupants and vulnerable road users (pedestrians outside the vehicle, cyclists, etc.), reduce traffic accidents and casualties, and ensure higher vehicle safety. From July 2024, all commercial vehicle registrations in the EU will be mandatory with the corresponding ADAS functions.
The Sany 408P electric mixer truck has passed the five advanced assisted intelligent driving functions of the new GSR of the European Union, including intelligent speed assistance system ISA, driver fatigue warning system DDAW, driving away information prompt system MOIS, blind spot information prompt system BSIS, reversing information prompt system REIS, etc.
The ISA is used to warn the driver and instruct the driver to reduce the driving speed when driving over the speed limit. According to the requirements of the regulations, the intelligent speed assist system should provide the speed limit information function (SLIF) and speed limit warning function (SLWF) to the whole vehicle in the human-machine interface. Before the test, the intelligent speed assist system ISA carried by Sany has been tested for more than 6,000 kilometers in ten European member countries, and the actual road driving is 431km, covering cities, villages and highways, with a single-scene recognition accuracy of no less than 90% and a comprehensive accuracy of 96%.

DDAW is a device that uses the driver's facial features, eye signals, head movements, etc., to infer whether the driver is in a state of fatigue based on the driver's physiological images, and to give an alarm and take appropriate measures when the driver is fatigued.

MOIS can detect and inform the driver of the presence of pedestrians and cyclists in the near blind spot at the front of the vehicle; BSIS is used to monitor and alert the driver to the risk of collision in the right blind spot when the truck/bus is turning; REIS is used to assist the vehicle in reversing and avoid unnecessary collisions through real-time reversing images.
