Chery Holding Group released a sales report: in June, the group sold 200,412 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 38%. Exports totaled 97,034 units, reflecting a 22.7% y/y increase. NEV sales totaled 44,851 units, up 230.6% y/y. From January to June, the Group sold a total of 1,100,621 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 48.4%, and its semi-annual sales exceeded one million units for the first time, setting a record high.

Since the beginning of this year, Chery Group's sales volume has grown rapidly, maintaining the "four leading positions" in the industry: First, the overall growth rate is leading the industry. Previously, the Federation of Passenger Cars predicted that the sales volume of the narrow passenger car retail market in June fell by 7.6% year-on-year, and Chery Group continued to grow at a rate of 38% in June on the basis of ranking first in the industry in terms of sales growth in the first five months. Second, the growth rate of new energy is leading the industry. In the first half of the year, a total of 180,947 new energy vehicles were sold, a year-on-year increase of 181.5%. Third, exports continue to maintain the first place in China's automobiles. Vehicle exports totaled 532,158 units, reflecting a 29.4% y/y increase. Fourth, the market share of SUVs is leading in the industry. After ranking first in the domestic market in SUV sales last year, Chery has continued to maintain the first domestic market share of SUV models this year.

At the same time, Chery Group is also the only one in the industry that has achieved "double growth" of new energy vehicles and fuel vehicles; Automobile companies with "double growth" in domestic and overseas markets have entered the fast lane of high-quality development.

Among the four major passenger car brands, Chery brand sold 123,694 units in June, up 28.5% year-on-year; Sales from January to June were 706,767 units, up 41.9% year-on-year; The Xingtu brand sold 13,252 units in June, up 34.6% year-on-year. Sales from January to June were 54,447 units, up 28.9% year-on-year; The sales volume of the Jietu brand in June was 42,088 units, a year-on-year increase of 94.8%; Sales from January to June were 223,555 units, up 98.9% year-on-year; The first product of the iCAR brand was launched for 4 months, and 5,907 units were sold in June; Sales from January to June were 25,586 units.

Chery Group adheres to the product development strategy of "synergy between oil and electricity", provides optimal solutions for different countries, different markets and different users according to local conditions, and realizes the "double growth" of sales of new energy vehicles and fuel vehicles.

In the new energy track, more than 80% of the new products launched by Chery Group this year are new energy products. In the first half of the year, the Group successively launched blockbuster models such as Fengyun A8, iCAR 03, Jietu Shanhai T2, Fengyun T9, Xingji ET, Xingtu Yaoguang C-DM, Exploration 06 C-DM, and the new Zhijie S7, covering plug-in hybrid, pure electric, extended range and other powertrains. The Group's new energy sales have been rising, and in the past four months, it has successively exceeded the monthly sales of 25,000, 30,000 and 40,000 units, achieving a year-on-year "doubling" growth. From January to June, the group sold a total of 181,000 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 1.8 times, fulfilling the promise of "no longer polite" in new energy sales promised last year.

In the field of fuel vehicles, Chery Group is one of the few car companies that has achieved positive growth in the context of the continuous decline in the overall sales of fuel vehicles in the industry. In the first half of the year, the Group's fuel models accelerated iteration and renewal, and a number of high-performance, low-fuel consumption and intelligent models such as Tiggo 9 Super Comfort Edition, Arrizo 8 New Edition, a new generation of Tiggo 7, Omenda Guardian Edition, Discovery 06 Secret Knight Edition, Jietu X90 PRO, Jietu X70 Glory Edition, Jietu Daisheng Youth Edition, and Jietu X90 PLUS Family Happy Edition were launched one after another, further enriching the multi-power product lineup of "fuel, hybrid, pure electric and extended range". From January to June, the Group sold a total of 919,674 fuel vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 35.8%, achieving the double growth of fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles.

The in-depth operation of the globalization strategy has helped Chery build a good pattern of breakthroughs in both the international and domestic markets. In the first half of the year, Chery Group sold 568,463 vehicles in China, a year-on-year increase of 72.2%; Overseas exports totaled 532,158 units, reflecting a 29.4% y/y increase.

Chery's "circle of friends" for open cooperation is getting bigger and bigger. Based on the 12-year cooperative relationship and mature operation of the joint venture, Chery and Jaguar Land Rover signed a strategic cooperation letter of intent in June to jointly promote a new cooperation model. Under the new cooperation model, Chery Jaguar Land Rover will launch and manufacture a series of electric products, jointly created by the creative design teams of Chery and Jaguar Land Rover, equipped with Chery's electrification platform, and using the "Freelander" brand authorized by Jaguar Land Rover, to bring a more unique new energy product experience to consumers in China and around the world.
