In order to do a good job in Xuzhou's 2024 "Yuxiang Pengcheng" childcare service publicity month, Xuzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital organized a team of child health experts to go to Qiming Childcare Center in Tongshan District, Xuzhou City on June 26, 2024 to carry out the theme publicity activity of "Scientific Childcare Family Tour", covering children's health knowledge lectures, health care work guidance and parent health consultation.
Wu Jiao, deputy chief physician of the Child Health Department of Xuzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital, gave a lecture to parents and teachers on the prevention of common infectious diseases in preschool children in summer. Mu Yu, the pharmacist in charge of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Department, popularized the science of how to use drugs rationally for children. Huang Liye, deputy chief physician of the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, gave on-site guidance on how to carry out the prevention and control of seasonal infectious diseases and sanitation and disinfection in the childcare center. During the event, the expert team also provided health advice for parents in terms of infant and child care, children's psychological and behavioral development, prevention of common childhood diseases and medication.
This activity popularized the knowledge of scientific parenting, improved the parenting skills of parents, consolidated the foundation of health care work in childcare institutions, and better ensured the health and safety of children in kindergartens.
