Recently, the new generation BMW M5 was unveiled overseas, with a new exterior and interior, and a 4.4T plug-in hybrid power system. It is understood that the new car will be officially launched in November.
In terms of appearance, the all-new BMW M5 follows the iconic "kidney" shape, with a contoured luminous light strip, which enhances the overall recognition and sense of technology. The headlight style has been newly designed to be more minimalist, and the effect when lit is very eye-catching.
The side shape of the body is simple and sleek, and the charging port is cleverly set on the left front fender, which is both practical and beautiful. The width of the vehicle has been increased by 67 mm compared to the previous generation, and the ground clearance has been reduced by 18 mm, improving the car's stability and handling.
At the rear, the design of the 5 Series continues, but with the addition of a carbon spoiler, a large diffuser and a two-sided quad exhaust layout, all of which combine to highlight the M5's sporty character and strength.
In terms of interior, the center console is equipped with a dual-curved screen design composed of a full LCD instrument cluster and a central control screen, a built-in iDrive 8.5 car computer system, and the latest M multi-function sports steering wheel. The seats are one-piece seats, which can wrap the passengers well and ensure the comfort of the cabin.
The interior is made of M-exclusive Merino leather upholstery, with a sporty multi-function leather steering wheel, a flat design, and a 12-point centering logo for a great grip and a sporty driving atmosphere. The distinctive M character is further accentuated by the Alcantara headliner, wrap-around interactive light strip and the M multi-function seats in the front with illuminated M logos.
In terms of power, it is equipped with a plug-in hybrid power system composed of a 4.4T eight-cylinder engine + motor, with a comprehensive power of 535 kilowatts, a peak torque of 1000 Nm, and a 000 acceleration time of 3.5 seconds.
