In Group C, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team defeated the Iranian women's volleyball team 3-0, with a score of 25-18/25-16/25-19, and the Vietnamese women's volleyball team won its first victory in the opening competition. Since Vietnam lost to Thailand in the first round, so currently Group C Thailand and Vietnam are both 1 win, if Iran can beat Thailand, then the 3 teams will determine the qualification place by the way of small points. As it stands, Vietnam and Thailand have qualified.
Group D: The South Korean women's volleyball team swept the New Zealand women's volleyball team 25-19/25-13/25-7, and the South Korean women's volleyball team won two consecutive wins to advance to the quarterfinals, and the New Zealand women's volleyball team will compete with the Chinese Taipei women's volleyball team for the second quarterfinals of the group.
