Shangluo News Network News: On June 30, the 2024 Housing Provident Fund Management Center of Shangluo City successfully completed the interest settlement of employees' personal accounts. The city has a total of 2,405 deposit units 117217 and 91,564,900 yuan of interest paid by employees, the number of people and the amount of interest increased by 3,714 people and 5,987,600 yuan respectively over the same period last year, an increase of 3.27% and 7% respectively, and the per capita interest income was 781.16 yuan, an increase of 27.19 yuan over the previous year, an increase of 3.61%, and the interest has been accurately and fully included in the personal housing provident fund account of the employees, which fully protects the legitimate rights and interests of the employees.
The interest settlement is from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. The interest settlement interest rate is 1.5% per annum based on the benchmark interest rate for one-year time deposits determined by the People's Bank of China. The settled interest is exempt from personal income tax and interest tax, and will continue to accrue interest as the principal amount for the next year.
