It is understood that the Xiangjing high-speed railway starts from Xiangyang East Station in the north, passes through Yicheng City to Jingmen City, and shares Jingmen West Station with the high-speed railway along the Yangtze River under construction, which is an important part of the "Hunan Channel", one of the main channels of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway.

The main line of the double-line bridge of Xiangyang East Station of Xiangjing High-speed Railway is about 1907.88 meters long, with a total of 432 pile foundations. The survey report shows that there are a total of 1,733 karst caves visible on the whole bridge, the maximum height of the karst cavity is 35 meters, the maximum number of single pile karst caves in series is 15, the longest pile foundation is 97 meters, and the strength of the rock layer structure layer is up to nearly 200 megapascals. The bridge has a large number of karst pile foundations, a wide range, a large scale of a single karst cavity, many karst caves in series, and high rock strength, which is the "ceiling" of the difficulty of pile foundation construction in China.

Yicheng Hanjiang Bridge is a control project of Xiangjing Railway, with a total length of about 25.5 kilometers, spanning the Hanjiang River Basin, the main bridge site is in the Hanjiang River Class III waterway, and its main channel across the Hanjiang River is designed as a low-tower cable-stayed bridge with a bridge length of 576 (88+200+200+88) meters. Compared with the traditional diamond-shaped hanging basket, the large section cantilever pouring bridge building machine has the characteristics of high work efficiency, good stability, high safety and good stability.
