According to the "2024 High-tech Zone Compulsory Education Zoning Enrollment and Enrollment Plan" announced by the High-tech Zone, Wangcheng School, which has attracted much attention, will be put into use this autumn and become a campus of the city's No. 42 Middle School.

Eastern boundary: Fanwei Road to Chairi Road in the south and Dengcheng Avenue in the north. Western boundary: Hanjiang North Road to Dengcheng Avenue in the north and Chairi Road in the south. Southern boundary: Chairi Road to Fanwei Road in the east and Hanjiang North Road in the west. Northern boundary: Dengcheng Avenue to Fanwei Road in the east and Hanjiang North Road in the west.
Among them: the north of Chairi Road, the south of Penggang Road, the west of Fanwei Road, and the east of Changhong North Road only enroll the children of residents with household registration in the high-tech zone and real estate in the area.

According to the Social Affairs Bureau of the High-tech Zone, in the past two years, this area, located east of Xiaoqing River, south of Dengcheng Avenue, east of Changhong Road, and north of Chairi Road, has become a hot spot for urban development, and there are as many as a dozen or so real estate projects in the area. According to the layout plan of primary and secondary schools, there are four schools planned in this area, and at present, there is only one nine-year school in the city's 42 middle schools, and the number of places is far from meeting the needs of citizens.
Wangcheng School, which was put into operation this fall, has two parts, a middle school and a primary school, with the primary school providing 1,890 places and the middle school providing 1,800 places, for a total of 3,690 places.
After Wangcheng School is put into use, it will establish an integrated teaching alliance with No. 42 Middle School, which means that Wangcheng School is a campus of No. 42 Middle School, and teachers are also deployed from No. 42 Middle School. The first is to alleviate the existing problem of large school sizes and large class sizes in the 42nd Middle School, and the second is to realize the sharing of high-quality educational resources.
