On July 2, a group of 13 teachers and students from the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University came to our city to carry out research activities and start a cultural journey across time and space.
The research group visited the city's museum, dinosaur museum, Changshan Wenbo Garden, Longcheng Youli Cultural and Creative Exhibition Hall and other representative research bases.
In the museum, teachers and students stopped in front of the precious cultural relics, they carefully observed, heated discussions, students couldn't help but pick up the brush, in front of the Buddha statue quietly depicted, trying to freeze this tranquility and solemnity on the canvas. In the Dinosaur Museum, the huge dinosaur skeletons and realistic fossil restorations make teachers and students feel as if they are in that era when giant beasts are rampant. They marveled at the wonder and greatness of nature, and at the same time had a deeper reflection on the origin and evolution of life. In Changshan Wenbo Garden, it is not only a cultural treasure integrating the beauty of traditional architecture and elegant gardens, but also a treasure house of Buddha statue art, which makes teachers and students fall in love with it. Finally, the research group came to the Longcheng Youli Cultural and Creative Exhibition Hall. There are many cultural and creative products that integrate local characteristics and modern design, and each work contains rich cultural connotations and creative elements. Teachers and students lingered here, and they were deeply attracted by these creative products, and they all said that these works provided them with valuable creative inspiration and practical opportunities.
This research trip not only allowed the teachers and students of the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University to deeply appreciate the historical and cultural heritage and artistic characteristics of our city, but also built a platform for them to show their talents and exchange ideas. At the same time, our city will also take this opportunity to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with institutions of higher learning, and jointly promote the prosperity and development of culture and art.
