1990 year
In January, the County Workers' Club was built and put into use.
From January 11th to 13th, the Ninth Congress of the Communist Party of China in Shandan County was held.
In March, construction began on Nanhu Park, which was completed in November of the following year.
On June 14, Li Ziqi, Secretary of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, inspected Shandan Peili Agriculture, Forestry and Animal Husbandry School.
From June 21st to 22nd, Governor Jia Zhijie held an on-site office meeting in the Gungho International Shandan Cooperation Experimental Zone in Shandan; Presided over the provincial governor's office meeting to discuss the construction and development of the school.
In the same month, the Yanghugou Coal Mine Jingwan Mine was built, with a designed annual production capacity of 60,000 tons and a total investment of 6.29 million yuan.
In September, Shandan Peili Agriculture, Forestry and Animal Husbandry School was changed from the management of the Gansu Provincial Agricultural Committee to the Provincial Education Commission, and the management system of provincial and local co-management and land-based management was implemented.
1991 year
On February 20, Han Zhengqing, member of the Standing Committee of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, led the heads of the Provincial Agricultural Committee, Township Enterprise Bureau and other relevant departments to Shandan for investigation.
On May 24, the first cultural temple fair of the Big Buddha Temple in Shandan County was held.
From May to July, the county's agricultural production was hit by severe drought and high temperatures, hot and dry winds, and pests, rodents and pests that had not been encountered in decades. In June, students who are admitted to high school and junior high school this year will be subject to the general secondary school graduation examination system.
In July, Shandan No. 2 Middle School stopped recruiting freshmen from high school and transitioned to a county-level junior high school.
In October, rapeseed oil produced by the county flour mill won the "Golden Millet Award" in a high-quality product evaluation activity carried out by the province's food system.
1992 year
On January 18, Jia Zhijie, deputy secretary of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee and governor of Gansu Province, presided over a special office meeting on "Developing the Shandan Industrial Cooperation Industry".
On July 23, the first Yanzhishan Tourism Festival and Material Exchange Conference opened.
On August 26, Sun Ying, Secretary of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, accompanied Huang Hua, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Advisory Committee, to inspect Shandan Peili School.
On September 8th, Shandan Peili School held a celebration of its 50th anniversary and the unveiling ceremony of the "Alley, He Ke and Chinese Children Statue".
On October 12, the reconstruction of the Shandan Great Buddha Temple began. After six years of construction, the consecration ceremony was held on August 12, 1998.
On December 1, Jia Zhijie, Deputy Secretary of the Gansu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Governor of Gansu Province, conducted research on the construction and development of the Gung Ho Shandan Experimental Zone.

1993 year
On March 29, the Gansu Provincial People's Government approved the Alley and He Ke Cemetery as a "Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit".
On May 24, the first Foshan Folk Culture Festival was held.
On July 11, Li Tieying, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and State Councilor, visited the Shandan Great Wall Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall.
On July 15, the Xinheyi Great Wall Exhibition Hall and the antique beacon tower were opened to the public.
On July 22, Sun Qimeng, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, visited the Shandan Great Wall Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall.
On September 22, the north wall of Shandan No. 1 Middle School was demolished and Beida Road was opened.
In October, Song Ping, former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, visited Shandan.
On November 11, Wan Dazhong, President of the New Zealand-China Friendship Association, visited Shandan Peili School.
This month, the first round of "Shandan County Chronicles" after the founding of the People's Republic of China was published.
1994 year
On April 10, Shandan County Vocational Education Center was established.
In May, the county government promulgated the Implementation Measures for the Additional Collection, Management and Use of Rural Education Fees in Shandan County, implementing the system of township collection, county management and township use, so as to provide a guarantee for improving the conditions for running schools in rural areas.
On June 24, Chu Yumin was appointed secretary of the Shandan County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China. In the same year, the reconstruction of the Shandan Baishiya Aqueduct with an investment of 10.4 million yuan was completed and put into use.
In the same year, Lubao Village No. 1 Community paved 1.4 kilometers of asphalt road, which was the earliest village-level hardened road in the county.
1995 year
In February, the county party committee and the county government held a groundbreaking ceremony for affordable housing on County Street.
On April 25, Yi Xiaosu, Vice Governor of Gansu Province, inspected the Shandan High-efficiency Water-saving Agriculture Demonstration Zone and was supported by the provincial project.
In June, the renovation project of Shandan Garment Factory began, and the construction of the complex building began.
On July 16, State Councilor Peng Peiyun visited the Shandan Great Wall Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall.
In October, the supply and marketing building was completed and the ribbon was cut.
In November, Wang Longde, Vice Minister of Health, inspected Shandan County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and wrote an inscription: "Carry forward the medical skills of Qihuang and revitalize the cause of traditional Chinese medicine in rural areas."
On November 28, Song Ping, former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Yan Haiwang, Secretary of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Yi Xiaosu, Vice Governor of the CPC Central Committee, led all the personnel who participated in the Hexi Corridor Sand Industry Development Work Conference to inspect the industrial development work of Shandansha. 1996 year
On July 1, Zhou Xingfu was appointed secretary of the Shandan County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China.
In the same month, the construction of the comprehensive office building of the Shandan County People's Procuratorate began, and the construction was completed in July of the following year.
On August 14, Sun Ying, Secretary of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, visited the Great Wall Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall and Museum. In September, Shandan No. 3 Middle School abolished the high school and retained the junior high school.
On November 18, the county's largest centralized burning site of counterfeit cigarettes was held at Shandan Xiaodongmen, where 333 counterfeit cigarettes were burned with a total value of 1.3 million yuan.
In December, Shandan County was named by the Gansu Provincial People's Government as a "two basics" (basically universal nine-year compulsory education and basic elimination of illiteracy among young and middle-aged people).
In the same year, Shandan County was awarded the title of "Model County of Double Support" by the Gansu Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Government and the Provincial Military Region of the Communist Party of China.
1997 year
In May, Shandan County People's Hospital was awarded the "National Second-Class A Hospital" by the Ministry of Health.
In June, the county party committee and the county government held the 100th anniversary of Alley's birth and the second Foshan Folk Tourism and Culture Festival. In the same month, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Shandan County Sports Training Center was held. This month, State Councilor Chen Junsheng inspected the shanding technology of Shandan mulch film wheat hole sowing technology and the development of the sand picking industry.
In July, Jiang Chunyun, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, inspected the rainwater collection group well confluence project in Dongle Township and the soilless cultivation and water-saving agriculture in Shihao Village, Qingquan Township. This month, the opening ceremony of the cross-regional wheat harvesting of the combine harvester was held in the county seed farm. Later, 76 combine harvesters were introduced from outside the province to carry out cross-regional machine harvesting in 11 townships and 8 government farms in the county, and the harvesting area was 65,200 mu.

1998 year
From June to August, 649 government officials in the county transitioned to civil servants.
On August 24, Shandan opened the secondary market for the listing and trading of housing reforms.
This month, the first 139 digital mobile phone in Shandan County was launched.
In September, the construction of the 97-kilometer-long Yongchang-Shandan section of National Highway 312 began. It was completed and opened to traffic in September 2000.
In December, the National Compulsory Education Project for Poverty-stricken Areas was officially launched in Shandan.
1999 year
In May, Chen Yi was appointed secretary of the Shandan County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China.
On May 18, Shandan County Electric Power Company was restructured into Shandan County Electric Power Co., Ltd., which is the first county-level power enterprise joint-stock transformation unit in the province.
On June 19, Wei Jianxing, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, visited the Great Wall Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall.
In the same month, Qingquan Township, Weiqi Township, and Huocheng Township were changed to Qingquan Township, Weiqi Township, and Huocheng Township, and the county has jurisdiction over 7 townships and 4 towns.
In October, the comprehensive building of the county maternal and child health station was completed, becoming a maternal and child health care guidance center integrating clinical, information, health care and training.
In the same year, the rural power grid renovation project with a total investment of 45.24 million yuan was implemented. In August, Shandan County No. 1 Middle School stopped recruiting students and became an independent senior high school.
2000
On February 17, the county party committee and the county government decided to start from 2000 and use 2-3 years to implement the "thousands and hundreds" sheep industry development project in the county: cultivate 1 circulation enterprise that traffics more than 10,000 sheep per year, cultivate 100 households that traffic more than 1,000 sheep per year, and develop 1,000 fattening households with more than 100 sheep per year.
On April 6, the county government and Shandan Peili School jointly set up a junior high school in the school. In August, the junior high school of the school opened.
On April 25, a Tang tomb in the reign of Wu Zetian was found in Shandan Yi.
On July 13, Song Ping, former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, inspected the Shandansha Industrial Development Demonstration Zone.
On July 15, a delegation of non-party personages headed by Jiang Zhenghua, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and chairman of the Central Committee of the Chinese Peasants' and Workers' Democratic Party, visited the museum.
In the autumn, the superstar of Shandan No. 1 High School was admitted to Tsinghua University, which was the first student in Shandan County to be admitted to Tsinghua University since the resumption of the college entrance examination.
In the same year, the first phase of the rural water drinking water project with a total investment of 11.94 million yuan was implemented in Shandan.
