In order to promote the special action of "inspecting and protecting people's livelihood" and work together to build a safety barrier for the protection of the rights and interests of migrant workers and workers in new industries, on the afternoon of July 2, the Bozhou Municipal Procuratorate and the Bozhou Federation of Trade Unions held the first joint meeting to discuss and cooperate. The meeting conveyed and studied the spirit of the first joint meeting of the Anhui Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and the Anhui Provincial People's Procuratorate, and signed the "Agreement on the Establishment of a Working Mechanism for the Protection of Labor Rights and Interests of Employees by the Bozhou Federation of Trade Unions and the Bozhou Municipal People's Procuratorate", and carried out in-depth discussions and exchanges on the current difficulties and solutions to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
Liu Jiying said that the procuratorial organs are the national legal supervision organs, and the trade unions are the representatives of the interests of members and employees, and the signing of the cooperation framework agreement between the two countries is not only a proper move to implement the spirit of the symposium and exchange meeting between the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, but also a pragmatic policy to comprehensively promote the linkage of the work of the two sides and mutual benefit. The Municipal Procuratorate will conscientiously fulfill the cooperation agreement, and work with the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions to speed up the construction of a case-handling cooperation work pattern between the procuratorate and the trade union organization, provide project-based and inclusive services for the majority of workers, and handle every rights protection matter and case involving workers with high quality and efficiency.
Xiong Guohong stressed that safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of workers in accordance with the law is an inevitable requirement for practicing the people-centered development philosophy. Trade union organizations at all levels in the city should earnestly improve their political positions, thoroughly study and implement the important expositions of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and the deployment requirements of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China on "improving the system of protecting the rights and interests of workers", and take the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of workers in accordance with the law as the political responsibility of firmly supporting the "two establishments" and resolutely achieving the "two safeguards", as a specific practice of adhering to the supremacy of the people, and as an important measure to implement the work requirements of the municipal party committee, and constantly enhance the sense of responsibility and mission. Guided by the coordination and cooperation working mechanism for the protection of employees' labor rights and interests, we will integrate their respective resources, give full play to their respective advantages, unite their work efforts, improve the quality and efficiency of their work, and jointly do a better job of safeguarding the rights and interests of workers.
