Austrian cooling giant Noctua has finally unveiled the highly anticipated NH-D15 G2, the evolution of this legendary product at Computex 2024. The new flagship is designed to improve cooling efficiency, noise control, and overall design, so you'll find something for both gamers and pros.
The innovation is the NF-A14x25r G2 round-frame 140mm fan with Sterrox LCP, which offers superior dimensional stability, lower noise, and better cooling performance than its predecessor. The NH-D15 G2 combines eight heat pipes with redesigned asymmetrical fins to increase the heat dissipation area by up to 20%, and despite its small size (168mm×150mm), it still guarantees compatibility with top-of-the-line PCIe slots.
The new multi-socket mounting system is based on the Torx design, ensuring robust and easy installation. The NH-D15 G2 will be available in three versions: Standard, HBC (High Convex Bottom) and LBC (Low Convex Bottom). The standard version is optimized for AM5 and LGA1700, and the HBC is designed for LGA1700 processors that may deform under long-term use, maintaining excellent contact; LBC, on the other hand, is aimed at flat CPUs such as AMD AM5 and does not require offset mounting.
The $150 NH-D15 G2 comes with an NM-SD1 screwdriver, the latest NT-H2 thermal compound, and a six-year warranty to provide your PC with a robust and long-lasting future-proof cooling solution.
