On the same day, 25 overseas Chinese media representatives from 19 countries and regions visited Dayugou to learn about the black fungus industry, intangible cultural heritage Tibetan wood carving and Taoyan Town, known as the "hometown of Taoyan", to experience the ecological beauty of ethnic areas and the development of modern agriculture.

Zhuoni County, which connects the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Loess Plateau, is the watershed of the Yangtze River Basin and the Yellow River Basin, as well as the transition zone of nomadic culture and farming culture.

In the middle of summer, overlooking both sides of the Tao River, the greenhouse is neatly arranged at the foot of the green mountain, and the strings of fungus sticks in the greenhouse are neatly lined up, and the fungus with black and bright color on the fungus sticks grows gratifyingly. At present, it is the harvest and picking season of fungus, and the villagers carry buckets and baskets to shuttle between the fungus sticks, picking, transporting, and drying.

"How much benefit can the small fungus industry bring to the local people?" Yan Jia, vice president of Brazil's Brazil-China News Agency, is concerned about this issue. According to local statistics, up to now, Zhuoni County has a total of 4 leading enterprises in the fungus industry, 35 cooperatives, 53 large planters, and 2 production and processing plants, forming a chain development model of "fungus stick production + base planting + processing and sales", and the whole industrial chain has driven 5,680 farmers and 9,950 people, with an average income increase of more than 6,000 yuan.

Nowadays, with the large-scale and technological development of the black fungus industry, more and more young "new farmers" are participating in it. Meng Junjie is a college student at Gansu Agricultural University, and after graduation, he resolutely chose to return to his hometown to start a business, and found his own career by planting fungus.

"I now grow my own fungus, with 14 fungus planting greenhouses and 50 acres of open-air fungus fields. The reason why I dare to try to start a business is because there is policy support in the early stage, and there is no need to worry about sales. Meng Junjie said.

In 2021, Zhuoni County will increase the optimization and adjustment of the industrial structure, and the edible fungus industry dominated by black fungus will be included in the "50,000 mu" industrial cultivation action. Meng Junjie's start-up enterprise was introduced into the county for cultivation as one of the leading production and marketing enterprises.

Talent is the key to the development of the industry. In order to encourage more local agricultural enterprises and farmers to plant edible fungi, Zhuoni County has built a production line of 15 million sticks and 5 million sticks through the introduction and cultivation of leading enterprises and the establishment of cooperatives, and at the same time implemented the "thousands of people" training plan, trained more than 1,000 professional cultivators of edible fungi, and invested 15 million yuan to build a demonstration base for the planting of black fungus in Qiugu and Nani, which provided strong support for the development of the black fungus industry.

"Through government support, farmers' enthusiasm for production has also increased, and local weak laborers can work at home, which is worth learning from." Yan Jia said that he will also tell the story of the county's fungus industry to more people through reporting.

Subsequently, the interview group came to Taoyan Town, Zhuoni County, where the best stone for making Taoyan "Laokeng Stone" is produced, which is also known as "Taoyan Township".

Nowadays in Zhuoni County, there are nearly 1,000 people engaged in the processing and sales of Taoyan in Taoyan Town, the origin of inkstone, and the Taoyan industry has become a pillar industry for the development of local economy and the improvement of family income.

In recent years, Zhuoni County has built Taoyan Cultural Street, which is a characteristic block that focuses on the local Taoyan culture. At present, Taoyan Cultural Street has settled in 26 Taoyan R&D and sales enterprises to realize the production and marketing docking of Taoyan products.

"When I interviewed Gannan, there was scenery everywhere and culture everywhere." Sun Xianglu, deputy editor-in-chief of the Africa Times in South Africa, visited Gannan ten years ago, and today he came to Gannan again ten years later, and was shocked by the rich ecological resources, ethnic culture and modern agricultural industry in the area. He said that through brushstrokes, overseas Chinese and ethnic Chinese will have a new understanding of the ethnic counties in Northwest China.
