Causes and analysis of various mental illnesses

Miscellaneous Talks—Causes and Analysis of Various Mental Illnesses

Introduction: The vast majority of psychological problems are caused by orchid traits (cognitive systems and connected thinking).

Cognitive systems and connected thinking are a gift, an ability, but we need to bear the "cost" (negative effects) of this ability.

These negative effects lead to a wide variety of psychological problems.

Depression is one of the most common psychological problems.

Regarding depression, we have been ignoring one point, that is, people who are depressed themselves are actually asking for help from the outside world.

Because they don't know how to deal with these negative emotions in their hearts.

Negative emotions are actually like viruses, they can harm our bodies and eat up good emotions.

People who are eroded by this "virus" can't solve it on their own, and in order to get help, they will declare to the outside world that they are sick.

If you are "sick", you have to go to see a "sick".

The problem is that now the psychiatric department of the hospital only prescribes medication to these "patients".

The effect of the medicine is only to inhibit the thinking of the "patient" and slow it down.

But this does not solve the "virus" (negative emotions), so taking medicine can be controlled, but it just doesn't work.

What about counseling? It's useless, because many psychological counselors don't even know ASD (As) and ADHD, so how can they understand?

In other words, there is no suitable industry to treat these depressed patients.

Because people don't realize that negative emotions are like viruses,

So to solve this problem, a whole new profession is needed, psychologists.

Let psychologists use practice + guidance to let patients generate more good emotions, so that good emotions can defeat/eliminate those negative emotions.

But there is no profession these days, so we need to be our own psychiatrist.

(1) Thinking problems

1. Sensitive

Introduction: The essence of sensitivity is that there is no sense of control, and when you have a sense of control, you will not be sensitive.

(1) Cause

The internal factor of sensitivity is the problem of emotional perception, and the external factor is the lack of control.

Intrinsic factors:

The main problem of high empathy and high sensitivity is that the perception of emotions is relatively high.

Often affected by other people's emotions, and often immersed in an emotion.

It's an innate trait

In life, this trait does bring some distress and even pain.

Because it is a strong perception of emotions, it means that it is greatly affected by emotions.

It is inevitable that there will be bad emotions in life, and this negative emotion will continue to affect oneself, and it is difficult to get rid of it.

And a good mood will have a stronger positive effect

Emotions are also powerful, and emotions can give people infinite strength.

It's easy to overlook this in life, because it's hard to imagine that others wouldn't be like this.

Extrinsic factors:

Most of the people who come to me for consultation will mention the word "sensitive".

Because of sensitivity, he is often anxious; Because of sensitivity, he often denies/doubts himself; Because of sensitivity, he often runs away from fear.

Is sensitivity an issue?

No, sensitivity is just the price you have to pay if you want to take control of your life.

Because when you're in control of your life, you don't have to be sensitive.

(2) Mechanism

In real life, there will always be things that you don't approve of, and individuals will be very repulsed by it, and at the same time, they will set up a "barrier" to isolate it.

This process leads to a very thick "barrier" of orchids, which is actually excessive "self-protection".

Over time, there will be a sense of uncertainty about reality, which manifests itself as oversensitivity.

Emotionally, it is manifested as paying attention to the emotions of every minute and second.

Orchids will always expect too much from a relationship or a conversation.

You need to get the other party equal in return for your efforts, and at the same time, you need the other party to understand you.

Once the other person fails to do the above two things, it will turn from expectation to disappointment.

In this state of disappointment, you will begin to doubt the other person.

Because you are "unsure" of the other person's thoughts, you will be uncontrollably suspicious.

So when you are "unsure" of the other person's thoughts, you need to be sure. Communication not only determines what the other person thinks, but also gives a sense of security.

(3) Solution

Since sensitivity is due to the lack of a sense of control, it is to gain a sense of control.

The easiest and most effective way is to realize your ideas, whether big or small, as long as you achieve them, you can gain confidence and a sense of control.

2. Obsessive-compulsive disorder

Introduction: The essence of OCD is extreme rational thinking.

(1) Cause

First of all, OCD is a matter of the way of thinking, which is an intrinsic factor.

There's also OCD in the search for a certainty, which is an extrinsic factor.

Intrinsic factors:

The process of thinking is to establish a logical relationship, and then sort out the object to be thought about from the beginning to the end through the logical relationship, and finally draw a conclusion.

People with obsessive-compulsive disorder will pursue logic excessively in the thinking process, that is, pursue rigorous logic.

Therefore, a person with obsessive-compulsive disorder will struggle with those small problems, and in his opinion, things that are not logical, he cannot accept.

It has to be rationalized or corrected.

Therefore, most orchids will have this kind of performance: habitually asking other people's behaviors and thoughts to achieve the purpose of "correction".

Extrinsic factors:

OCD represents a strong sense of purpose, so what is their purpose?

The answer is "certain", and a result must be "certain".

As I said before, the cognitive system needs to be controlled, and the premise of control is to "determine" first.

(2) Solution

Obsessive-compulsive thinking stems from extreme rationality, and the system is a transformer of rationality and sensibility.

In other words, the problem with OCD is that it is difficult to transform the rational and the emotional.

So if you want to change this obsessive thinking, you need to use emotional changes to get out of the obsessive state.

3. Perfectionism

Introduction: The essence of perfectionism is excessive desire for control.

(1) Cause

The pursuit of perfection is actually the pursuit of ultimate control.

It is manifested as: high expectations for results, setting high standards for one's own actions, self-criticism of results with extreme evaluation, and paying attention to whether the details of the process are in line with the inner order.

There is nothing wrong with pursuing control, but the pursuit of perfection will have more negative effects.

In life, it is manifested as: in contact with new things, new fields, will subconsciously want to make it perfect, this mentality permeates every aspect of life, halfway frustration or a little mistake to give up, but also very questioning their own ability, into infinite self-doubt and denial, resulting in lack of self-confidence.

And always put things off until the end to do it, it's easy to get in a lot of situations. The accumulation of these little things will cause a lot of self-confidence in yourself, and you often feel that you can't do anything well, and it is difficult to do anything.

Perfectionism before action is an excuse for procrastination and overthinking.

It is not that thinking is not advocated, and proper thinking can avoid blind action, but excessive thinking can make a person spend a lot of time preparing for the completion of the task.

At work, in order to achieve an ideal goal, I am reluctant to act immediately and start work in a hurry, so I constantly add new content into the plan, and strive to be ready, so as to delay.

(2) Solution

Finish is more important than perfection.

There is no such thing as perfection in the world, but it is possible to create something infinitely close to perfection.

It is precisely because there is no that it needs to be created.

4. Connected thinking

As the name suggests, it is thinking like the Internet. When I think of the Internet, the first thing that comes to mind is a search engine, as long as you type a few words, you can search for a lot of information about these few words. The same is true of connected thinking, for example, when you think of Apple, you can come up with a lot of information about Apple. For example, eating apples, iPhones, apple juice, apple-flavored drinks......

This is a positive effect, but in normal life, it is only manifested as being smarter than the average person.

The negative effects are more obvious

It is manifested as: forgetting what was at hand a few seconds ago, forgetting what was thought a few seconds ago, forgetting what just happened a few seconds ago.....

I've been bothered by this lately, and I often can't remember whether I've locked the car door or not, so I often have to check where the car is.

Similar to the situation in the picture, it is "I remember that I closed it, and I felt that it was not closed, and when I got to the back, I really couldn't tell whether the door was closed or not, and then I had to run back and take a second look"

Because interconnected thinking is to retrieve the memory of locking/closing the door, and call up a lot of related memories, and it is impossible to tell whether it is this time or not because of too many memories.

There is also the condition of "disconnection", which usually manifests as not being able to remember what was going on in the seconds before you.

Because the interconnection is associated from one point to many points, once it is interrupted, it will associate other things, and after associating, it is natural that you can't remember what you were associating before.

(2) Psychological problems

1. Depression

Introduction: There are 50 people in a high school class, and 29 people are taking depression medicine, do you think it is normal? Now not only teenagers, but also the whole country is suffering from depression. It's not a societal problem, it's that someone wants you to be depressed because they're going to sell medicine.

Many media outlets often mention depression on a large scale, and they also publish depression-related test forms (depression can be detected by normal people), which are all imposing a psychological suggestion on people.

It's not that you're in a bad mood, it's that you're depressed.

In other words, what could have been regulated by myself has become that I am sick, and since it is a disease, what is the use of me adjusting it?

I just made an excuse for myself to escape from reality.

Of course, depression is really hard, but why is it so uncomfortable?

Because there is an imbalance between reason and emotion.

(1) Cause

Rationality means that you need to put into practice what you need to study, work, play, exercise, etc.

Sensuality means that your happiness, anger, liking, longing, pain, and other emotional changes are all emotional.

The effect on life is that because you are hungry for knowledge, you learn; Because you like to play, it will make you happy, so you always want to play games......

An imbalance is when one of the rational or emotional aspects stops working.

There are a lot of ideas, but if you don't put them into practice, you will easily fall into a dilemma, and you will become more and more afraid and evade.

If you are very active but lack someone or something that can provide you with emotional value (in simple terms, love), you will stagnate because you lose motivation.

And reason and sensibility are an interacting force

Only reason can change sensibility, and practice can change consciousness

Only sensibility can change reason, and love can create miracles

Rationality and sensibility, in general, are not out of balance, and if there is a tendency to be out of balance, self-regulation will be initiated.

If you can't regulate it, you will fall into a state of depression, but it is only a state, and self-regulation is actually running all the time, but it takes more time.

So depression is actually a state that can be self-regulated, and there is no need to take medication.

The reason why dandelions' rationality and sensibility are rarely unbalanced is, first of all, because their rationality and sensibility do not transform each other and thus become extreme.

The second reason is that they will habitually rely on the group. For orchids, both groups and individuals are full of uncertainty, and they can often only rely on themselves.

(2) Mechanism

The essence of depression is an imbalance between reason and emotion, so what is the cause of the imbalance between reason and emotion?

People have the ability to self-regulate, especially the self-regulation ability of orchids.

The mutual transformation between reason and emotion can quickly come out of unhappiness.

Of course, some people will say that it will take me a long time to come out, and that is because you lack the "power to act", which is rationality.

To put it simply, it is difficult to fall into a mental predicament because of your own problems, and you can usually recover slowly.

But this ability to self-regulate (recover) is based on the premise that the surrounding environment is good

If the surrounding environment is bad, such as verbal/physical violence, domestic violence, school violence, cold violence、... Wait.

You will lose the ability to self-regulate (recover), and if you can't regulate your emotions, you will naturally fall into a mental predicament.

(3) Analysis

Depression is not cured by taking medicine, but mainly by changes in the environment and changes in thinking.

Because depression is mainly caused by the following three points

From this, we can conclude that depression is a mental dilemma.

When it comes to depressed patients, almost all of them have a common manifestation of crankiness.

This crankiness is not caused by depression, but is inherited.

The medical name is: Attention Deficit Disorder ADHD, commonly known as ADHD in China.

This is actually connected thinking, and connected thinking is a kind of ability, a kind of talent.

The reason why I say this is because it's not that it can't concentrate, it's that it can't concentrate on things that don't interest you.

And those who are interested in themselves can show their computer-like memory and extreme concentration.

The name Connected Thinking comes from the ability to collect and store information like the Internet.

We are not very interested in learning such boring mechanical tasks, and naturally it is difficult to concentrate.

And the environment makes us have no choice, so when we can't concentrate, we can use appropriate medication to help.

Of course, taking medicine is only suppressed for a period of time, and after the effect of the medicine is over, it will return to its previous state, because it is not a disease in the first place.

Many drugs used to treat depression can suppress interconnected thinking, which is considered a wrong process, but it leads to a certain correct result.

But other medicines have no effect, and there are many side effects, which are quite bad for the body.

As for somatization symptoms, it is because mental problems act on the body.

You're not in good health, and you're not in a good mental state. In the same way, if you are not in a good mental state, you will also have physical problems.

So depression doesn't require hospitalization.

(4) Resolution

Depression is a mental dilemma, so I just need to find a way out of it.

There are two aspects to depression, one is the environment and the other is the mind.

Environment: It's hard to change the environment, but it's a lot easier to change it.

Be sure to find an environment that works for you.

The talent of orchids is very strong, but there is a prerequisite that the environment must be good.

If the environment is not good, these talents will react and hurt themselves.

Thinking: If you want to get out of the predicament of depression, you need to realize your own thoughts.

Use reason to drive sensibility (practice changes consciousness), and then use sensibility (love: love is the source of all motivation) to support reason (action).

Facing up to your needs will give you endless courage and strength.

2. Anxiety disorders

This is the common mental illness of people, social life is stressful, but anxiety is not the problem, escape is the problem.

The more you run away from the anxiety, the worse it will become. Like I am anxious every day, but it doesn't affect my normal work.

3. Schizophrenia

Introduction: There are schizophrenia, multiple personalities, and self-talk, mainly due to the long time spent alone on a regular basis.

People need to communicate with the outside world to get feedback. When you're alone, you need to get feedback on yourself.

(1) Cause

About multiple personalities, schizophrenia, depersonalization...... and other mental problems related to personality, there is a premise, that is, self-consciousness is important.

Self-awareness reinforces that everything is centered on oneself.

People need feedback from the outside world, which is the most basic spiritual need of people. A heavy sense of self weakens the feedback from the outside world and strengthens the feedback to oneself.

An essential part of our life is to look in the mirror, from the mirror, tidy up the hairstyle, find skin problems, apply makeup...... etc., to correct themselves. In the same way, in order to mentally realize that you can give feedback to yourself, you need to set up a mirror in your mind to reflect the "ideal/perfect" self in your current state. We call this self in the mirror "true self" When you see someone talking to yourself, it's no surprise that he's actually talking to his true self.

The "true self" exists independently, so it is a personality.

The "true self" is actually a need, and the self needs the true self to correct itself in order to maintain an ideal/perfect state of self.

As for the multiple personality, it also stems from the needs of the self, and the effect of psychological suggestion is achieved by changing the way the self is in the mirror.

Personality is a need.

Human beings are malleable, and the framework of life is a constraint. It invisibly forces you to be who you are.

The mirror of your mind allows you to see the framework more clearly.

(2) Resolution

The so-called schizophrenia and multiple personalities arise based on one's own needs.

So changing your own needs can change this state.

4. Bipolar disorder

Bipolar disorder is actually an enhanced version of depression, more mania, not a so-called incurable disease at all.

The biggest difference between this and depression is that when you suffer from depression, you still have a certain ability to self-regulate.

Bipolar is the loss of self-regulation ability and emotional out-of-control, so it will be excited for a while and low for a while.

As for what to do? If you are depressed, you can do bipolar feelings.

(3) Personality disorders

Introduction: In life, orchids need to set up many barriers to protect their spiritual world, and too many barriers will gradually form obstacles.

A lot of the time, this barrier is actually an over-self-protection.

Excessive self-protection is to protect oneself, but also to close oneself.

This is actually not too much of a hindrance, and if it affects your life, you can improve it by changing/increasing your needs.

So don't say what you are, paranoid personality disorder, avoidant personality disorder, people-pleasing personality disorder.....

It's about escaping the problem and defining yourself.

It is up to one to decide what one is like, and defining oneself will only hinder one's own development.

Epilogue

This is the end of the orchid theory, which is about more than 30% of the total population, and is still growing, because the orchid system and interconnected thinking are genetic.

The purpose of the orchid theory is first to identify with oneself, and secondly, to understand the orchids around us.

"Some poisons are incomprehensible, and to understand their properties, you have to poison yourself."

"There are diseases that are difficult to understand, and to understand their essence, you have to suffer from them."

This is the reason why people are divided into dandelions and orchids, orchids and dandelions are difficult to understand each other, and orchids and orchids are easy to understand each other.

(1) The significance of orchid theory

Through the above understanding, we can know that the essence of orchids is a talent.

What is the meaning of this gift?

Looking through the biographies of those celebrities in history, we can find that they have more or less orchid syndrome.

Through the "side effects" in the orchid talent above, we can know that judging whether a person is an orchid can be judged by whether she/he has autism spectrum disorder, ASD and attention deficit disorder, ADHD/ADHD traits.

Famous people with ASD traits are: Temp· Grandin, Einstein, Mozart, Bill · Gates, Van Gogh, Picasso, Lev· Tolstoy, Newton, Jobs....... Wait.

Leo · Tolstoy, a famous Russian novelist, a great moral thinker and social reform activist. His masterpieces "War and Peace" and "Anna Karelina" are famous all over the world. But he was forced to drop out of the university because he failed the exam. He is poorly organized and has a hard time maintaining attention on a topic for long periods of time.

Temple · Grandin: Zoologist, a well-known autistic person, she dedicated herself to promoting autism and invented the Hug machine for oversensitive people. Soon after she was born, her mother noticed that she was behaving differently from other children. It was later learned that she had autism.

Albert Einstein: Albert Einstein, who was four years old, spoke but rarely spoke. And I finally spoke, and I spoke very, very slowly. In fact, Einstein had to go through all the sentences in his head and then said them when he felt that there was no problem. It has been documented that Einstein did not continue to do so until after he was nine years old. As a result, Einstein's parents often felt that their children had intellectual problems. His parents were very worried. Finally, at one of the dinners, Einstein broke the silence by saying, "This soup is too hot." His parents were reassured and asked him why he hadn't spoken before. Einstein replied, "Because everything has been normal until now." ”

Mozart: Impulsive, easily distracted, easily emotionally out of control, but energetic and innovative.

There are also Denmark fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen, United States business tycoon Cash, France chemist and biologist Pasteur, United States Harvard University Medical School psychiatric professor Edward Halliwell, Spain painter Picasso, genius inventor Edison, Italy painter Leonardo da Vinci, etc., all of whom were considered by later doctors to have varying degrees of ADHD when they were children.

(2) About the orchid community

The 12 characteristics of the cognitive system and interconnected thinking at the beginning can accurately identify the orchids in the population. But you need to ask the other party, after all, it is what you think in your heart. If the other person answers that she has more than 3 characteristics, you can judge that she/he is an orchid.

The reason is simple, because dandelions do not have a cognitive system and connected thinking.

Orchids tend to communicate one-on-one, and have a certain sense of grooming for groups or groups.

At the same time, the orchid hopes to be understood and affirmed in the group, when communicating in the group, their speech needs to be responded to by the people around them, if they do not get a response, they will have resistance or loss to the environment, and then reduce the relevant speech or stay away from the group.

So the establishment of an orchid "community" is not an easy task.

At first, I was just trying out the orchid community, but as the number of people in the community grew, I gradually realized that the orchid's "embracing the same kind" is an instinct.

Our purpose in the Orchid Community is to solve problems for those who ask questions. Again, I want to be more about transmitting a belief that we are not wrong!
