In March 1965, shortly after I joined the army, I was transferred from the 34th Regiment of the Railway Corps to the Automobile Regiment, and as the first batch of trainees of the Automobile Regiment Training Team, I became a glorious automobile soldier. Due to his hard training and excellent skills, he stayed in the training team to train and deliver excellent car drivers for the automobile regiment.

In 1968, he was re-elected as the second platoon commander and galloped to the construction site along the Chengkun Railway, which was dangerous on the high mountain road, and continuously transported building materials and living resources to the construction site to ensure the smooth progress of the construction progress. Remember that when the 12.5-meter-long standard rail was pulled, the liberation car removed the side plate, the rear compartment padded two sleepers, and a car was flat-loaded with six steel rails, the driver's door could not be opened, and the driver climbed in and out from the door window.
