Last year, Hikrobot launched its self-developed XoFLink protocol, and in the past year, it has successively launched a number of industrial area scans, line scan cameras and capture card products that support this protocol. This year, the 10G XoFLink capture card series has also welcomed a new member, the MV-GS1104F.

XoFLink uses 64/66B encoding, which greatly improves efficiency and maximum bandwidth. In addition, the XoFLink protocol supports the implantation of HB lossless compression algorithms, which can greatly improve the link bandwidth. In addition, the XoFLink protocol supports data retransmission and adaptive speed switching, which can effectively ensure the stability of transmission.

In the new MV-GS1104F, the maximum bandwidth has been greatly increased compared to the previous version, and the four XoFLink ports can support a total bandwidth of 40Gbps, which is more conducive to maximizing the maximum frame rate of the camera in multi-camera application scenarios.

The full range of XoFLink capture cards adopt FPGA solution architecture, which takes over more data processing work, which not only makes data transmission more stable, but also reduces the burden on the CPU of the back-end industrial computer, freeing up more resources to serve other back-end algorithms.

Flexible topology linking, easy to install and use

It can support camera 1-link and 2-link transmission working modes, and can easily be matched with 1 card to 2 cameras or 1 card to 4 cameras. And the card end supports disorderly links, which is easy to install and use.

The lithium battery industry and the printing industry used to use the 8k Camera Link solution, and for this scenario, the XoFLink series product solution has obvious advantages. First of all, the XoFLink protocol uses optical fiber as the transmission medium, and the anti-interference capability EMC can reach more than 5kV, and the transmission distance can reach the kilometer level. Secondly, in multi-camera scenarios, one frame grabber can still maintain a high line rate of 146kHz with 4 8K line scan cameras, which is cost-effective.

Wind Tunnel Laboratory

Wind tunnel laboratories analyze air movements, which require high-speed capture of changes in gas density, as well as storage and slow-down analysis. The requirements for shooting frame rate and real-time storage frame rate are very high. In this scenario, XoFLink high-speed area scan camera can be used with the corresponding capture card, as well as Hikrobot's unique MV-IPC-SHS industrial computer, which can meet the high-speed storage of up to 21 million resolutions and 540fps.
