Jiangnan Ancient Sound Source Library
This competition will carry out a series of music search and collection activities of "Music for Jiangnan · Jiangnan Guyin Youth Search Program", through the search and music collection of intangible cultural heritage inheritors, folk artists, folk songs and fishing song singers in Jiangnan traditional music, collect traditional music timbre materials and cases, and form a "sound database".
The sound library will be open to the public to provide materials for the contestants, combine the musical and artistic expressions of the new era with tradition, rejuvenate the new life of Jiangnan music, and compose the strongest sound of Jiangnan music in the new era!

(1) The competition is divided into junior group and youth group, and the competition will be conducted with the same theme.
(2) The content of the music creation works is healthy, positive, imaginative, expressive and innovative. Contestants can submit original music works in any form and style, with a duration of 2 minutes or more (insist on originality, do not plagiarize, otherwise you will be disqualified);
(3) The theme is clear and prominent, and the work focuses on the themes of celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, inheriting and innovating excellent traditional culture, contemporary youth lifestyle in the Jiangnan region, historical changes, etc., and composing the strongest voice of the new era of youth struggle;
(4) In order to improve the quality of the event, the "Music for Jiangnan Music Creation Training Camp" activity is specially set up for this competition, and the contestants who participate in the free online training camp need to register in advance to participate in the study.

- ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS -
(1) The text introduction of the work can include lyrics or other explanations to help understand the work, such as the background of the creation, the purpose of the creation, the production process, etc., and if the submitted work contains any non-self-made sampled audio, it must also be listed in the text introduction, and the source of each sample must be marked.
(2) Entrants must complete the composition and arrangement of the entry, but they are allowed to cooperate in performance, singing, lyrics, recording, and mixing, and must indicate the names and responsible parts of all collaborators participating in the entry.
(3) The creation of works based on music scores usually requires participants to have deeper composition experience and a solid foundation in music theory, and it is not recommended for beginner creators.
