China.com, July 20 (Reporter Ma Kuang) Today, sponsored by the China Press Photography Society and the China Women Photographers Association, the Shandong Press Photography Society and the Heze City Federation of Literature and Culture in Shandong Province, the "Children of the Yellow River - Wang Chaoying's Photography Fifty Years Original Exhibition" opened at the China Millennium Monument in Beijing, ·, and the opening ceremony was presided over by Qian Han, honorary president of the Shandong Press Photography Society.
This exhibition features a selection of 75 original journalistic and documentary photographs taken by Wang Chaoying over the past 50 years. She uses the cultural resources of her hometown as rich nourishment, and tells the story of social development in different historical periods through careful and rigorous observation from the perspective of small to large. Her documentary works, as a record of the historical and cultural resources of local development, evoke people's cultural memory; As a witness to social change.
The works in the exhibition are produced using archival output and signed by the author. These works with the fragrance of the earth, with a unique perspective and exquisite skills, reflect the struggle of the children of the Yellow River with images, as a gift to the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Mao Jianjun said that photojournalism undertakes the sacred mission of recording history and serving the people. Wang Chaoying, a news photojournalist from Heze, has spent 50 years of perseverance, going deep into the grassroots, singing for the times, and his works are full of strong feelings for his family and country, surging with the waves of the times, recording the great progress with small photos, and also showing the responsibility and responsibility of an old news photographer.
Subsequently, Zhao Yingxin, vice chairman of the China Women Photographers Association and artistic director of Beijing International Photography Week, Ma Qianli, executive vice president of Shandong Press Photography Society, and Cao Lin, member of the Standing Committee of the Heze Municipal Party Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, also delivered speeches respectively.

Subsequently, the guests held a seminar on Wang Chaoying's works at the exhibition site. The guests discussed topics such as Wang Chaoying's photographic creation, the responsibility of photographers, the historical value of documentary photography, the spirit of the Yellow River and the culture of the Yellow River.
This exhibition is organized by the World Art Center of the China Millennium Monument in Beijing and the Beijing International Art Garden Photography Foundation. It is reported that the exhibition will last until July 28.
