The TOP Safety dual safety test is divided into the co-pilot side pillar collision test and the co-pilot front 50% collision test, aiming to be closer to the actual driving situation and comprehensively test the safety of the vehicle on the passenger side.
In the co-pilot side pillar collision test, the scene of a car skidding out of control and hitting a tree trunk or a telephone pole was simulated, posing a serious challenge to the vehicle structure. In the 50% frontal collision test of the co-pilot, the M9 collided with another trolley of the same speed at a speed of 50km/h, with a relative speed of up to 100km/h, and the impact energy was huge.

In this test, the outstanding performance of the M9 adopts a seven-horizontal and three-vertical lower body structure, an 11-cavity super strong sill beam, a B-pillar structure design of one layer of 2000MPa hot-stamping steel superimposed on three layers of 1500MPa hot-stamping steel, and 12 2000MPa hot-stamping steels of the whole car, which fully protects the safety of the occupants.
Not only hard-core materials but also advanced design, the M9 class-leading axial crushing length of the energy-absorbing box is 260mm, which effectively increases the energy-absorbing space and efficiency, and the enhanced triple force transmission path design can better resist the frontal impact and ensure the living space of the driver and passengers and the integrity of the passenger compartment.
