Iran believes that after Israel and Allah go to war in an all-out manner, Lebanon, Arab countries, and the "fox of resistance" led by Iran will choose to support Lebanon. At that time, the war will expand to the entire Middle East, and Iran, which has no choice, will also be involved in this confrontation.
After Israel's air strikes on Yemen, Iran also condemned Israel and denounced United States. Iran believes that Israel is the root cause of continued instability in the Middle East and that its actions in Gaza are in violation of international law.
Iran said that United States's full support for Israel has made the situation in the Middle East more tense, and United States should be held accountable for this.
In short, Iran has chosen to speak for the Palestinians, Allah and the Houthis while providing weapons to components of the "fox of resistance." The port of Hodeidah, where Israel carried out this airstrike, is an important weapons transit point, and many of the weapons supplied by Iran to the Houthis pass through.
But at the same time, Iran does not want a direct war with Israel. When Israel attacked the Iran consulate and beheaded Iran General Zahedi, Iran did not say anything harsh about Israel. Although Iran chose to retaliate by firing missiles and drones at Israel, the result was nothing.
With Iran revealing its tactics in advance and Israel preparing for it, most of Iran's missiles were blown up. Subsequently, in order to borrow the slope to get off the donkey, Israel launched another attack on Iran itself, and Iran swallowed its anger and did not retaliate against Israel.
There is a reason why Iran has shown such determination.
