Multi-unit, multi-disciplinary participation, 3D printing, digital virtual restoration and other new technologies intervene. Recently, the "Sanxingdui Site Newly Unearthed Cultural Relics Protection and Restoration Achievements Exhibition" was opened in the Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan, Sichuan.
This exhibition is more than 50 pieces of bronze, gold, jade, ivory and other artifacts newly unearthed in Sanxingdui in the past year.
The application of 3D printing protective sleeves and digital virtual restoration technology has made the integration of archaeology and technology the highlight of this exhibition, and the cultural relics buried for more than 3,000 years have achieved "digital rebirth".
