In the corner of the Parc des Nations in La Villette in Paris, stands a small red building. On the 25th local time, the "24 Olympic Legacy" theme exhibition jointly sponsored by AICO (International Olympic Collectors Association) and AFCOS (France Olympic and Sports Collectors Association), an association of members of the France National Olympic and Sports Committee, was launched here.
"Why is this exhibition called '24 Olympic Legacy'? Because it has selected 24 representative collectors from around the world to showcase their collections and the stories of their own countries. Hou Kun, the only collector from China among the 24 and a member of the IOC's Cultural and Olympic Heritage Committee, said, "I am very honored to be able to represent Chinese collectors to present the content of the Olympic Games hosted by China." ”
In Hou Kun's showcase, collections related to the Olympic Games held in China are displayed, including the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics mascot Fuwa, the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics silk scarf, the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games mascot Lele, and the two major Internet celebrity collections of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics - the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics award bouquet made by Hengyuanxiang - "The Bouquet That Never Fades" and the creative pillow printed with Bingdundun. In addition, there is a collection of the Paris Olympic Qualifying Tournament, which ended in Shanghai not long ago.
"France is the birthplace of the modern Olympic Games, France have a strong interest in collecting, and Coubertin is also French, so I think this exhibition is a very important platform." Hou Kun said, "The exhibits I brought from Beijing are all Chinese wisdom and strength that we have contributed to the Olympic Movement, and I hope to show more to you through this platform." ”
The exhibition "Legacy of the 24 Olympic Games" will be on display until August 11, closing with the closing of the Paris Olympic Games. During this period, the small red building served as a free venue for Olympic collectors around the world prepared by the two host associations of the exhibition, which can be used for exchange, exchange and communication. On the day of the opening of the "24 Olympic Legacy" theme exhibition, 15 badge collectors from China came here to participate in the exchange and interaction on the day. "The IOC's Committee on Culture and Olympic Heritage is the advisory arm of the IOC, and we were established to support the development of various Olympic cultural activities." Hou Kun said, "Actually, we have a lot of exhibitions that have already started. I hope to introduce more people to our exhibitions, to learn about our history, to learn about the history of the Paris Olympics. ”
