Whether you are professional or amateur, since you love literature, choose to write, and pursue writing as a dream, then you must have enough perseverance, especially be prepared to endure hardships and stand hard work. The path is narrow, and there are very few who can hold out to the end.
Gorky, a famous writer and poet in the former Soviet Union, once said that writing is a fool's business. This is not to say that the person who writes is stupid, ignorant, and dull, but that the person who writes is very hard. If you have nothing to write to pass the time, that's a different story; If you take writing seriously, then plan well, make a writing plan, and then eliminate external distractions and concentrate on writing.
Whether the manuscript is used or not is the editor's business, and as an author, my business is to just write. In the past, I used to write as a hobby, with no goals or plans, stepping on watermelon peels and sliding wherever I went. But there is one thing that I stick to better, and that is to bury my head in writing and keep writing. After I finished writing, as soon as I felt good, I would open the newspaper supplement or literary magazine e-mail, point my fingers, and be done. When I say effort to write well, I mean quality. The quality of the manuscript is very important and is the stepping stone of the newspaper. To say that it is elegant, it is called a masterpiece; To put it in layman's terms, it is to be able to get it. A person's ability is big or small, but his attitude must be correct. A manuscript can be seen if you write it with your heart or not. Of course, manuscripts written with heart are not necessarily the taste of newspapers and periodicals. This requires the writer to make efforts to study the characteristics of newspapers and periodicals.
At the beginning, I thought that the quality of the manuscript that I had carefully conceived and worked hard to write would not be a problem. If the quality of your own articles is not good, how can you blame the editor? People should be self-aware, avoid themes, genres, and writing skills, and as far as the standards for using manuscripts are concerned, each newspaper and periodical has its own purpose and propaganda focus. Later, when I came into contact with the editorial work of a cultural magazine, I understood this very well. Since then, no matter what manuscript I write, I will always strive to stand at the height of the overall situation, stand in the perspective of editors, and fully consider the needs of readers. In this way, the hit rate of the written manuscript is naturally much higher.
Just write, and try to write well.
