The Paris Olympics are in full swing, have you also ignited your passion for sports? "Ningning" sorted out some sports venues related to the Olympic events in Changning District, followed the "Ningning" movement, and embarked on a journey to experience the Olympic events together~
1
Struggle Sports Tennis Club (Changning Road Store)
Which sport surprised you the most at this year's Olympics? Tennis is certainly one of them. Zheng Qinwen won the first Olympic women's singles gold medal in Chinese tennis, and Zhang Zhizhen, a young man from Shanghai, partnered with Wang Xinyu to win the mixed doubles silver medal, both of which are breakthrough achievements.
There are many tennis venues in Changning, among which the Struggle Sports Tennis Club, as an indoor tennis court, is very suitable for playing in summer. Located near Zhongshan Park subway station, the club has been established for more than 20 years and has 2 tennis courts, toilets, changing rooms and rest areas. In 2022, it was rated as a social training base for reserve talents in Shanghai competitive sports tennis project.
For all tennis lovers, the most distinctive feature of this venue is that it has a relatively strong coaching team. If you are a beginner, you can also try class classes, which are both for teenagers and adults, and are more cost-effective.

SHBC Archery Center (Raffles City Changning)
Although archery is not a traditional strength of the mainland, the women's team performed well on the archery field this year, losing only narrowly to defending champions Korea. In addition, the action of archery is both elegant and powerful, which must make many friends grow grass.
In recent years, the archery halls in Shanghai can be said to be "blooming everywhere", and "Ningning" first came to the SHBC Archery Center in Raffles City, Changning. The staff told "Ningning" that the store has 5-meter, 10-meter, and 18-meter arrow paths, which are suitable for different levels from entry to advanced. In particular, it is worth mentioning that their store has a 70-meter-long archery track, which is "the same as the Olympic Games"!
If it is the first time to shoot an arrow, the staff recommends using the lightest bow and arrow for the first time, and shooting one or two sets of arrows.

Bow and archery (Zhongshan Park Dragon Dream Store)
A venue called Yang Bow and Archery in Zhongshan Park Dragon Dream is one of the most popular sports venues in Changning.
Why is it so popular? It is observed that the store has 8 meters, 10 meters, 20 meters of different lengths of archery in hardware, and attaches great importance to parent-child groups in software, welcomes children over 7 years old to participate in the sport of archery, and emphasizes the effect of archery to correct the body, improve eyesight, and strengthen the body.

Kaixin Shooting and Archery Hall
In this year's Olympic Games, the Chinese shooting team continued to show its extraordinary strength. Among them, the 19-year-old Sheng Lihao scored two gold medals "just by cooking".
Compared with archery halls, the number of shooting galleries is small, and most of them are photoelectric rather than live-fire venues. The Kaixin Shooting and Archery Hall (also known as the Liuchu Feihua Ski Hall) in Hongqiao Sports Park integrates shooting, archery, and skiing, which is very comprehensive. There are rifles and pistols for shooting, and in the process of shooting, the stability of the hand and mind is a top priority, and willpower and concentration are also indispensable.
In the same venue, archery has a 10-meter indoor archery track and a 30-meter outdoor archery course, and the skiing facilities include two artificial ski machines, attracting a large number of adults and families with children.

Changning heated swimming pool
The Changning heated swimming pool is the place where the Changning Olympic athletes began to realize their dreams. Tang Qianting, a young girl from Changning, won a silver medal in the individual breaststroke event, and won one silver and one bronze in the relay event she participated in. When she was a child, it was here that she learned and fell in love with swimming, and she trained in the nursery class for 2 hours a day without getting tired.
This swimming pool is not only a place for future athletes to set off, but also a good place for citizens and friends to swim, with adult pools and children's pools, a third locker room, and sufficient lifeguards, with a minimum charge of 20 yuan per game, and was selected as "2023 Advanced Swimming Pools in Various Districts of Shanghai".
By the way, Changning currently has two 50-meter-long public swimming pools, namely the Hongqiao Sports Park Mercury Natatorium and the Yan'an Middle School Swimming Pool. There are two swimming pools under renovation and under construction, namely the swimming pool of the International Gymnastics Center and the Loushanguan Road Comprehensive Sports Center. I can't believe how happy the people of Changning are after all the completion!

Chaosheng Table Tennis Training Center (Changning Store)
As a national sport, table tennis affects the hearts of all Chinese people. Athletes from the mainland finally kept the glory of national table tennis at the Paris Olympics, and we are cheering for the king while looking forward to more rising stars.
If you want to find a venue for children to learn table tennis, or want to play table tennis in their spare time, you can go to a special table tennis hall. Chaosheng Table Tennis is one of the table tennis halls that has been opened for a long time, and the professional teaching team can not only cultivate children's sports habits, but also continue to provide talents for national, provincial and municipal professional table tennis teams. Changning store is located in the clubhouse of Hongqiao New Town Community, with Hongqiao New Town Natatorium on the second floor and table tennis hall on the third floor.
During the summer vacation, the stadium opened summer classes for children and adults, and the training camp attracted many children who were ready to choose table tennis in the high school entrance examination. You can also choose to rent a table, rent a ball machine, hire a coach and other ways to train.

Small Sports Center (Takashimaya)
In the Olympic Games, we are increasingly discovering that gymnastics is not only a soft sport, but also a competition of strength. At the same time, gymnastics is known as the "father of sports", and when you learn gymnastics, you learn not only gymnastics, but also the foundation of many sports.
Located in the Takashimaya shopping mall, it is a small sports hall for children. "Ning Ning" saw at the scene that the entire training venue is soft-packed, and there are also parallel bars, uneven bars, balance beams and other facilities, which are very considerate of the safety of children. There are two kinds of gymnastics and physical fitness courses in the museum, gymnastics focuses on skills, and physical fitness focuses on basics.
The staff told "Ning Ning" that the youngest child who participated in the gymnastics course was only 4 months old, and was later selected by the sports school at the kindergarten stage. More children are strengthening their bodies in the process and laying the foundation for the whole journey of life.
Address: 3rd Floor, Takashimaya Department Store, No. 1438 Hongqiao Road
Of course, there are too many Olympic events to experience and challenge to mention. In particular, Chinese athletes not only compete for gold and silver in traditional table tennis, diving, gymnastics, shooting and other events, but also continue to perform well in emerging sports such as BMX and rock climbing. I can't help but feel that the charm of sports lies in constantly breaking through the limits!
