This has become a very hot topic lately, with ESPN commentator Jeff Van Gundy calling out the players. He spoke about it in the preseason games for the Miami Heat and Houston Rockets.

Van Gundy didn't directly point his question to the Brooklyn Nets' Kyrie Owen, but many fans thought he was serious. As Owen has denied revealing his vaccination status.
While Van Gundy may not point his attack at Irving, NBA Hall of Famer Karim Abdul-Jabbar isn't shy about summoning individual players. He recently talked about why Andrew Wiggins was vaccinated.
In addition, Karim even lashed out at LeBron James' stance on unvaccinated people.
At the end of the day, this has turned into a very ugly situation that should have been a wise choice. Do you want to stay away from the COVID-19 virus? So let's get vaccinated. Quite simply, right?
