In terms of battery life, the test result of daily application of simulation scripts is 6 hours and 09 minutes.
ASUS ProArt Genesis 13The initial price is 14999 yuan, and it rises to 15999 yuan after the first period.
So if you need a high-performance, small-form flip laptop for creative design work, then this laptop is the only option for you.
But if you have average performance requirements, just want a compact body, want ultra-long battery life and extreme thinness, then Lunar Lake's new product may be more suitable for you.
【Heat Analysis】
The picture above is a real picture of the disassembly of the Tron 13, a combination of 4 heat pipes and dual fans, and the CPU uses liquid gold to conduct heat. There is an opening on the inside of the fan, and an inward blowing structure is adopted.
Room temperature 25°C
Reflectivity 1.0
BIOS版本:HN7306WV.308
In the full load state, the high-efficiency mode is turned on, the CPU temperature is stable at 82.2°C, the power consumption is 25W, the frequency of the large core is about 2.5GHz, and the small core is about 1.85GHz;
The graphics card temperature is 81.3°C, the power consumption is 65W, and the frequency is 1650MHz.
After turning on the strong cooling and manually maxing out the power consumption, the CPU temperature hits the wall at 96.1°C, and the power consumption is 62W;
The graphics card temperature is 76.3°C, the power consumption is about 42W, and the frequency is 1320MHz.
The performance release of the whole machine has increased from 90W to 104W, and the graphics card seems to have some room for improvement, and the machine should be limited by the TPP power consumption of the whole machine.
单烤Stress FPU,CPU温度维持在94°C,功耗60W,大核频率3.8GHz左右,小核频率2.95GHz左右。
Single-bake Furmark, the temperature of the graphics card is maintained at 79.1°C, the power consumption is 75W, and the frequency is 1770MHz.
Swipe left to see the temperature on the back of the oven
Temperature on the back of the fuselage
The surface temperature is shown in the graph above, with the keyboard keycaps at a maximum temperature of 47.2°C on the "F6" key, around 31.3°C near the WASD key, and 36.9°C near the arrow key. The temperature of the left wrist rest is 35.1°C. The dorsal center point is 43.2°C.
Overall, the ASUS ProArt Genesis 13 features a new thermal design, and the overall heat dissipation performance is excellent, although the flip shaft sacrifices the volume of the main fins, but the final performance is excellent, and there is no rival in the same size.
【The Pig King's Conscience Conclusion】
Before Intel released the Ultra 200V series processors (Lunar Lake), Intel and AMD had the same positioning of the mainstream true · mobile processors (Meteor Lake and Hawk Point) in the domestic market, that is, the positioning of H45 in the past, for "high-performance thin and light laptops".
AMD AI 300 Series processors (Strix Point) are a little more expensive and are still geared towards high-performance thin and light laptops.
The difference is that the Intel Ultra 200V series processors are positioned closer to the "U15" and "P28", and in many ways have significant differences from the AI 300 series:
1. Multi-core performance
The graph below shows the R23 performance and power consumption curves of the four processors, and you can see that the Ultra 7 258V processor is limited by the core size, and its multi-core performance lags behind the AI 9 HX 370 a lot, and only has a certain advantage below 15W.
2. Independent display support
The Ultra 200V series processors have a small number of PCIe lanes, making it difficult to carry a discrete graphics card.
The AI 300 series has a higher number of PCIe lanes, which means that it can be made into a discrete graphics model.
However, the AI 300 series' PCIe lanes are actually regressive, which results in its dual-bay discrete graphics model having only ×2 PCIe lanes on the second drive bay.
3. Endurance
Although the energy efficiency of the AI 300 series processors is also good, and it can also be used as a long-lasting model, the Ultra 200V series is stronger in this regard, and the following set of data is for your reference:
Zenbook 16 Air, AI 9 HX 370 processor, 78Wh battery, 9 hours 05 minutes of battery life;
Zenbook 14 Air, Ultra 7 258V processor, 72Wh battery, 11 hours and 58 minutes of battery life.
4. Heat dissipation pressure
Compared with the AI 300 series, the Ultra 200V series processors have a lower heat dissipation pressure and a lower power consumption, which is a major benefit for ultra-thin laptops and handhelds with performance below 30W.
The chart below shows the gaming performance of the U7 258V (Zenbook 14 Air) released at 28W and the HX370 (Zenbook 16 Air, with the graphics card turned off) released at 80W.
To sum up, if you have high requirements for CPU multi-core performance, or need a model with a discrete GPU, then the AI 300 series is the one that better meets your needs;
On the other hand, if you mainly work daily and pursue extreme thinness or ultra-long battery life, then the Ultra 200V series will be more suitable for you.
In my opinion, the difference in processor positioning is more convenient to do product segmentation, however, for consumers who are not familiar with the processor, once they buy the wrong one, it will also become more troublesome.
