Lakeside Whispers (Prose)

This autumn doesn't seem to be long before it's gone.

The wind in Xiangshan Lake was already a little chilly, the fallen leaves in the forest had covered the lawn, and a pair of finches were there to make love, but my presence did not affect them, and they were chattering there with love words that humans could not understand.

A young mother shoots a video for her children, probably to record them in better condition, as the children run from the depths of the jungle to her end over and over again, and their laughter ripples through the trees.

There were also two wind-chasing teenagers running on the trail by the lake, and I couldn't catch their clear faces, but their cheerful laughter remained under the blue sky.

A row of straight weeping willows by the lake accidentally planted a golden-leaved elm, which is in a row of greenery, and it is wrong to be golden, which has a unique charm.

People who come and go don't seem to be as surprised by the change of seasons as I am, and sigh at the passage of time, and everyone is okay according to their own life trajectory.

So I came up with the word "acceptance", accepting everything that had happened.

Every day is very ordinary, and the cycle repeats itself, and nothing else. The days are changing every day, and there are surprises and surprises. We might as well accept it first, because not accepting it means entanglement, conflict or confrontation with ourselves and the world around us. After acceptance, we will "regurgitate" carefully, and then get the answer and decide on the trade-off.

For example, we are busy all day long, and it is inevitable that we will be a little irritable when we are busy. However, when we get used to this hectic pace, we may find that it is not the scope of work that we have undertaken that has increased, nor does it necessarily mean that the required work standards have increased. Perhaps our ability needs to be improved in order to be able to adapt to the fast-paced requirements, so that the conclusions drawn after rumination may be more rational, and the direct result will be less complaining and more introspection and self-discipline.

Since the advent of smartphones, people's lives have become more colorful, with world events at a glance, life experiences are like treasures, and the way to acquire knowledge is much easier than in the past. But his time was also shattered. Douyin, Kuaishou, Xiaohuangshu...... They are your sweethearts and your charms. They know you more than you do, and they steal your time without you knowing.

Do you blame the phone? Wrong, you can only blame yourself for not being self-disciplined.

What is more gratifying is that on the way to work, I can often see some people holding books and reading carefully, and some hard-working people who are busy with computers in their hands, and their expressions are very focused. When I mentioned this to my child, he said: Concentration is a kind of ability, and it is also a kind of self-discipline.

Every time I pass by Xiangshan Lake, I always have some thoughts, and when I have time, I will record these things, and when I don't have time, I will store them in my heart, and then I will recall and organize them when I have time. It's a bit messy, but turning them over a few years later should bring back a bright color in my memory.
