Ge Wuzhi: People who know the times are not necessarily all Junjie

author:Meichat Grid Chronicles

We often say: "The person who knows the times is a junjie".

This sentence comes from the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Shu Zhi, Zhuge Liang Biography" Pei Songzhi's note cites Jin Xi's Chiseled Tooth "Xiangyang Record": "Confucian laymen, do you know the times? People who know the times care about Junjie. There are crouching dragons and phoenix chicks here. ”

Wolong and Fengyan are zhuge liang and Pang Tong Pang Shiyuan in the Three Kingdoms period that we are familiar with, and they are all famous strategists and think tanks in the Three Kingdoms period. Because they know the times, they are called Junjie.

Lü Bu, who was also in the Three Kingdoms period, was quite knowledgeable about current affairs, so why couldn't he be called Junjie, but only as a tyrant?

Lü Bu killed Ding Yuan, recognized Dong Zhuo as his righteous father, and later killed Dong Zhuo, surrendered to Yuan Shao, and ran all the way to the road of knowing the times, but why was he just a tyrant in the end?

So much so that later people ridiculed: "Lü Bu among the people, specialize in stabbing the righteous father!" "Thought the world laughed at the bait.

Then why are Zhuge Liang and Pang Tong considered Junjie because they know the times?

During the Three Kingdoms period, Cao Cao "blackmailed the Son of Heaven to order the princes", destroyed Yuan Shao's forces, unified the north, and in the subsequent Three Kingdoms period, the most powerful force.

Although the State of Shu was one of the Three Kingdoms, it was the weakest, and Sun Quan's State of Wu was also stronger.

In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it is said that Zhuge Liang was not yet out of the woods, and he knew that the world was divided into three parts. It can be seen from this that Zhuge Liang's grasp of the situation in the world is very accurate, and he knows in his heart which is strong and which is weak. As a phoenix-young Pang Tong with the same name as him, he probably already knows the situation in the world.

If they are aware of the current affairs, they should choose those who are more powerful, such as Cao Cao and Sun Quan. But they chose Liu Bei.

Some people may say that Cao Cao's advisers such as Lin and Sun Quan's subordinate Zhou Yu were jealous of Xian's ability, which was not conducive to their display of talents. This may be a point of view.

But I prefer another point of view, that is, they think that Liu Bei is the orthodox Han Dynasty, and the rest, although powerful, are just some chaotic thieves.

In their eyes, the strength and weakness of the forces under the world are not necessarily the "current affairs" in their eyes, and the "current affairs" in their eyes are the great righteousness of the world.

Did Tan Sitong, one of the "Six Gentlemen" of the Late Qing Dynasty, not know the world and know the current affairs? As the main leading figure of the Peng shu change, is he not as good as Kang Liangzhi about current affairs? Kang Liang's disciples can withdraw in time, and he can certainly do the same.

But he didn't, because it wasn't the time he thought it was! He believes that the current affairs of the world lie in the righteousness of the world!

After the failure of the restoration and reform of the law, he once said to those who persuaded him to leave: "All countries have changed the law from bloodshed, and today China has not heard of anyone who bleeds because of the change of law, and the reason why this country is not prosperous." If so, please start with the same heir. ”

"I smiled at the sky from the horizontal knife, and went to keep the liver and gallbladder for two Kunlun", which may be the current affairs of the world in Tan Si's heart.

And our revolutionary martyrs who can sing and cry, which of them is not a figure with insight and pattern? Couldn't they see clearly the current situation of poverty and weakness in China at that time? Of course, they can choose to rely on the great powers and warlords, and the glory and wealth are needless to say.

But why did they choose to give up their lives and forget their deaths, even though they were tortured, but "although they died nine times, they still did not regret it"?

Because of the oppression of the great powers at that time, the warlords were at war, and even if they could get glory and wealth by relying on them, this was not the current affair in their hearts.

Their current affairs lie with the people living in the depths of the world! Their current affairs lie in China, which was torn apart by the war at that time!

I don't know when this sentence has become a special word of persuasion or self-consolation, is it not ridiculous?

When people in the world say this sentence, they often only pay attention to the superficial meaning of this sentence, believing that current affairs refer to the current situation of the world and the strength and weakness of power. Knowing the times means being able to see the strength and weakness of the world's forces and know how to rely on the strong.

The world believes that those who give up the weak are the strong, that is, they are aware of current affairs and are junjie.

This is because they misunderstood the original meaning of current affairs. The affairs of the times should have referred to the place where the great righteousness of the world lies. Knowing the times means that the heart understands the great righteousness of the world, and such a talent deserves to be called Junjie.

Those who take their own immediate interests as their current affairs can't afford the name of Junjie, but are just some small people!
