On October 11, teachers and students from the Qing History Research Institute of Chinese University went to the Qing Dongling to carry out research and practice activities. Zhao Yingjian, an extracurricular instructor at the School of History of the Chinese University of China and deputy director of the Management Committee of the Qing Dongling Reserve, gave a vivid extracurricular practical lesson to the students of the Qing History Research Institute.
During the activity, teachers and students from the Institute of Qing History of Chinese University conducted field research on Dingdongling, Yufei Garden and Yuling. Director Zhao Yingjian gave an in-depth explanation of the history and humanities of the Qing Dongling Tomb and the beauty of ancient art.
In the process of studying, the students were deeply shocked by the profound history and culture, exquisite architecture and cultural relics in the collection of the Qing Dongling, and said: "As the culmination of the ancient Chinese imperial mausoleum architecture, the Qing Dongling contains a lot of Qing history information in the landscape design such as the central axis and in the architectural details, which is of great benefit to the research of Qing history."
In order to let more teachers and students majoring in history understand the Qing Dongling Tomb and study the profound cultural connotation behind the cultural relics of the Qing Dongling Tomb, the Qing Dongling Conservation Area has been committed to actively connecting with various professional colleges and universities, complementing their advantages, and carrying out fruitful cultural research and research activities. In May 2021, Qing Dongling became a practical teaching base for the School of History of Chinese University. Since the establishment of the research cooperation relationship between the two sides, they have carried out many practices on research and investigation, which has effectively achieved the purpose of helping students combine theory and practice, broaden their cultural horizons, and promote the study of Qing Dongling culture. It has laid a solid foundation for further development of more dimensional and deeper research cooperation.
