The motorcycle category of this year's Canton Fair also set up two exhibition halls, among which QJMOTOR, Loncin, Zongshen, Lifan, Shengshi and other motorcycle companies participated, which can be called the Guangdong version of the "Motorcycle Expo".
At this year's Canton Fair, the Qianjiang (QJMOTOR) booth has attracted special attention from car manufacturers at home and abroad, especially the newly unveiled ADV Xiao 800 (known as SRT800RX overseas).
Judging from the actual car on the spot, the new generation of Xiao 800 has changed the style of its predecessor, and has become one of the most eye-catching models at the Qianjiang booth with a more lightweight design and a hard-core adventure style.
Damo Academy feels that the new Xiao 800 that debuted can be described as a "rebirth", both in appearance and configuration, it is more characteristic and better.

The all-new Snap 800 is more hard-core and more compact overall
Compared with the previous generation, the appearance style of the new generation Snap 800 tends to be more of a hard-core and concise adventure style.
The front of the car adopts a single headlight design, abandoning the previous bionic bird double headlight shape, and replacing it with a sharper single lens group and oblique daytime running lights, making the vehicle full of aggression.
Similar to the Snap 600, the design is clearly more off-road adventure, with the bare design of the subframe not only reducing weight, but also highlighting the minimalist and hardcore style.

The whole vehicle is slimmed by 49 kilograms, and the power is strong
The curb weight of the all-new Snap 800 is 198 kg, which is 49 kg lighter than the previous generation's 247 kg. This significant slimming is due to the vehicle's new design, including the exterior, frame, swingarm cut-out structure, and more.
This design not only improves handling, but also makes it easier for the rider to control the vehicle in off-road riding, especially when riding standing up.
The all-new Xiao 800800 continues to be equipped with a 799cc twin-cylinder 8-valve engine with a maximum power of 68kW (92.4 hp) and a maximum torque of 77 Nm ·.
Judging from the data alone, it may be a slight decrease from the previous generation, but after the weight reduction, this power tuning is actually more suitable for exploration and off-road use environments, and the power output is more stable and more adaptable to complex road conditions.
Hard-core configuration, travel lightly
The new Xiao 800 features outboard-spoked wheels with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, and the tires are the new Ambro A4 all-terrain tires, which are also used on the Chunfeng 800MT-X.
The front brakes are 320mm twin discs with Brembo pair quad calipers and the rear brakes are 260mm single-piston calipers, providing strong stopping power and stability.
In addition, the front and rear suspension travel of the vehicle has been upgraded to 200mm, and the rear shock absorption of the four-link structure further improves off-road passability and comfort.
The Snap 800 is equipped with a vertically designed instrument cluster that is extremely practical, in line with KTM's recent design trends. The vehicle's mirrors are designed to be foldable, which is useful when crossing trails.
However, since we consider the trail crossing, I don't understand that the turn signals are installed on the handguard handlebars of the vehicle, although this design is practical, but the Damo Academy feels that it is not as simple as integrating it into the daytime running lights.
In terms of other data, the seat height of the new generation Xiao 800 is 830mm, the ground clearance is 210mm, the fuel tank volume is 17.8 liters, and the tire width is 90 in the front and 140 in the rear.
Final summary
The all-new Snap 800 is not a shell car
The new generation of Snap 800 that debuted is undoubtedly a change from the design of the current Snap 800 and a new development based on the experience of the Snap 600.
