The project starts in the southwest of Lingshan Town, Luoshan County, connects with the completed Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, passes eastward through Pengxin Town, Panxin Town, Zhoudang Town, Shandian Township, Dingyuan Township of Luoshan County, Yinpeng Township, Nanxiangdian Township, Yanhe Township of Guangshan County, Suhe Town, Qianjin Township, Wuchenhe Town, Huwan Town, Balifa Town, Baiqueyuan Town of Guangshan County, Yuji Town, Wuhe Township, Tangquanchi Management Office and Wanggang Town of Shangcheng County, and reaches the boundary of Yuwan Province, the end point of the project, connecting with the Xuanshang Expressway of Anhui Province, with a total length of 123.175km.

According to current data, the expressway is designed for a speed of 100 km /h, with a service area and toll station set up in Tangquan pond, and a toll station in Yuji. This means that Shangcheng County will have two entrances and exits.
According to the information currently announced, after the opening of this expressway, the distance and time from Shangcheng County to Xinyang City will be shortened, and the exit of Shangcheng County people from the north to the south will be more convenient.
