Under the artistic guidance of the China Academy of Arts, Wang Glory cooperated with Professor Lin Chen, Associate Researcher of the China Academy of Arts and Representative Inheritor of The National Intangible Cultural Heritage Guqin Art, and Mr. Liu Bo, a national first-class artist and doctoral supervisor of the China Academy of Arts, to create the sixth anniversary of the limited skin "Zhuang Zhou · Alpine Flowing Water" officially debuted!
Recently, skin-related CG videos were officially released: with the sound of the piano as the guide, the landscape painting as the line, and the "dialogue" between Zhuang Zhou and the guqin as the main story line, the meaning of thousands of years of unbroken zhiyin is expressed.
Based on the re-innovation of modern aesthetics, "Zhuang Zhou · "Alpine Flowing Water" and animation CG integrate the lost world-famous piano "Trumpet Bell" and the famous song "Alpine Flowing Water" into the animation in digital form, building a spiritual world of the unity of heaven and man, ink and danqing, and conveying a very profound Chinese culture.
On the occasion of the sixth anniversary, King glory also hopes to use the allusion of "mountain flowing water meets the sound" behind the skin, thank the players for staying with them for six years, and evoke the good memories of summoners and friends fighting side by side in the canyon and working together against the wind. The mountain is flowing with water - at this moment, I would like to celebrate the anniversary of the king with you.
The guqin has a spirit, and it is dedicated to the zhiyin
In the previously released "Alpine Flowing Water" CG animation, the rich ink wind swept in, and the classic blank space instantly brought the audience into a world of Chinese painting, with mountains towering, white clouds surrounding, and a waterfall pouring down. The picture turned sharply, and it turned out that this landscape was actually a world in the spiritual world of the guqin bell.
Musician Zhuang Zhou fluctuated the strings, but only a dull sound was heard, and he felt that he had no connection with the guqin, and Zhuang Zhou lay down.
In his dream, Mr. Lin Chen, an associate researcher of the China Academy of Arts and a representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage guqin art, launched a dialogue with Zhuang Zhou across time and space through the sound of the piano.
The butterfly in the dream pierced through the layers of fog, unraveling the mystery for Zhuang Zhou, and the world behind him also had color, an elegant landscape painting unfolded in front of the audience, Danqing splashed ink uncomfortably, and the red pine leaves made the picture more vibrant.
In the dialogue between Zhuang Zhou and Guqin, the mountain stone pine tree transforms into a carp, crosses the mountains and flowing water, and soars upwards. "Glory of the King" embodies the song "Mountain Flowing Water" through natural scenery in the form of a material speech. At the same time, the CG animation is also implanted with the figurative expression of high mountains and flowing water, which correspond to the crown of the mountain cloud crane and the aqua green kotosui, respectively.
Focusing on the protagonist of the animation, Zhuang Zhou, his costumes are extremely simple, but they are equally elaborate. Based on the costumes of the Wei and Jin Dynasties and the Southern and Northern Dynasties, it is loose and flowing, and the artistic technique of white space is adopted in color, and it is only simple embellished on the collar, arms, cuffs and waist, highlighting the elegant and indifferent life pursuit of the gentleman.
The guqin "trumpet bell" played by Zhuang Zhou is a "virtual digital guqin" designed in combination with the legend story of Yu Boya wrestling the qin to pay tribute to Zhiyin, and the existing "trumpet bell" guqin as a reference.
The background music of the animation follows the paragraph layout of "scatter-slow-medium-fast-scatter" in the guqin song, creating a free, flowing and calm mood. At the same time, the changes in music also echo the changes in Zhuang Zhou's mood, from the initial confusion, to the sudden enlightenment, and then back to the indifferent and distant, transcendent state of mind, which is very storytelling.

Guqin art, as one of the second batch of "Masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Mankind" listed by UNESCO, fully demonstrates the cultural accomplishment and cultural self-confidence of the Chinese nation; "Alpine Flowing Water", one of China's top ten famous songs, and the story of the mountain flowing water encountering Zhiyin in the Boyazi period are well-known.
Legend has it that the violinist Yu Boya in the Spring and Autumn Warring States period played the piano in the wilderness of the wilderness, and the woodcutter Zhong Zi period who passed by could understand the meaning and interest in the song, so the two became acquaintances, after the death of zhong Zi period, Bo Ya lamented the sadness, broke the piano and broke the strings, and did not play for life, with Xie Ping's rare zhiyin, later generations believe that "Alpine Flowing Water" is likely to be made by Bo Ya.
Although this allusion is passed down by word of mouth in China, many players may not be familiar with it or even have never heard of the guqin played. Two thousand years of thick time is a profound value precipitation of culture. Before the Tang Dynasty, this piano piece was originally a song, and then divided into two pieces, "Mountain" and "Flowing Water", with the development of the performance art of the piano since the Ming and Qing dynasties, the two piano pieces have undergone tremendous changes.
Under the artistic guidance of the China Academy of Arts, "Glory of the King" integrates guqin, ancient music and cultural allusions, and finally creates "Zhuang Zhou - Alpine Flowing Water", trying to excavate the historical, artistic and humanistic spirit behind it, so that the concept of alpine flowing water accompanies the skin and music to approach the players, deepening the players' innate sense of identity and pride in traditional Chinese culture.
In the process of skin polishing, "Glory of the King" invited Teacher Lin Chen and Teacher Liu Bo to participate in in-depth co-creation. Mr. Lin Chen participated in the compilation and recording of the guqin fingering of the theme song "Flowing Water in The Mountains", "Flowing Water Zhiyin", while the landscape paintings in the background of Zhuang Zhou's animation were written and directed by Mr. Liu Bo and co-created with the King's Glory Project Team.
