The story revolves around Maruko, her family and classmates, and tells the daily life of ordinary Japanese families in the 1970s. The protagonist, Komaruko, is almost a shadow of the author, Miura Miki was nicknamed "Komaruko" when she was a child because of her short stature, and she began to use the pen name "Cherry" after she debuted in manga, which is the origin of "Cherry Maruko". It is precisely because "Cherry Pills" is close to life and easy to heal, making it popular. Since 1990, "Cherry Maruko" has been adapted into a TV anime broadcast on Fuji TV in Japan, and then landed in China, South Korea, Thailand and other Asian countries, and was widely welcomed.
