In order to carry forward the spirit of the Silk Road and Chinese culture, further promote the construction of the Great Wall National Cultural Park (Hebei section), and create a landmark activity brand for the dissemination and promotion of intangible cultural heritage along the Great Wall, the 2021 "Belt and Road" Great Wall International Folk Culture and Art Festival, co-sponsored by the People's Government of Hebei Province and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was held in Langfang City and Qinhuangdao City from September 15 to 17. The Qinhuangdao branch venue launched several major plate activities such as the Intangible Cultural Heritage at the foot of the Great Wall, the Great Wall Concert, and the Great Wall Beauty Photography Exhibition. Provincial and municipal intangible cultural heritage projects from all over the province gathered at the foot of the Great Wall, and the skills and exquisite handicrafts displayed by non-hereditary people on the spot attracted tourists and citizens to stop.

Tanjia pastries come from the central part of the North China Plain, north of Beijing and Tianjin, and Renqiu, where the North China Oilfield is located.

As one of the main building materials of ancient architecture, green brick has a long history of firing in China.
Renqiu City, Hebei Province, out of the town of out of a carvey kiln was built in the Qing Dynasty Daoguang years of ancient brick kiln, on the basis of which built renqiu city out of the town of ancient brick factory, has been following the traditional handmade brick process to make green bricks, each green brick to go through the soil, drying, making blanks, kiln installation, kiln and other processes, the finished green bricks here have been used in beijing Palace Museum, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Qing Dongling and other ancient building repair projects. In 2012, the ancient green brick making technology was selected into the list of provincial intangible cultural heritage of Hebei Province.
