It is reported that in order to implement the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on the employment and entrepreneurship of college graduates, improve the communication and cooperation mechanism between colleges and universities and employers, and gather forces from all walks of life to jointly do a good job in the employment of college graduates, the Ministry of Education decided to establish the 2021-2025 National Guidance Committee for the Employment and Entrepreneurship of Ordinary College Graduates (hereinafter referred to as the Steering Committee). A total of 19 industry steering committees and 7 expert groups have been set up nationwide for a term of office from May 2021 to May 2025.
At the meeting, the "Work Rules" and the "2021-2022 Annual Work Plan" of the Equipment Manufacturing Industry Committee were deliberated and adopted, and the members actively offered suggestions and suggestions to jointly contribute wisdom to promoting the employment and entrepreneurship of college graduates in the equipment manufacturing industry.
Zhang Xichun awarded the plaque of "Employment And Internship Practice Base for Graduates of Equipment Manufacturing Industry" to China Machinery Industry Group Co., Ltd., China Baowu Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd., BYD Co., Ltd., Shenzhen UAV Industry Association and other member units.
According to reports, the equipment manufacturing industry is one of the 19 industries, and Zhang Xichun, secretary of the Huagong Party Committee, served as the first chairman of the committee, and the secretariat of the steering committee is located in Huagong. Among the 48 members are 21 representatives of South China University of Technology, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Jiangsu Electronic Information Vocational College and other universities, 22 representatives of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, China FAW Group Co., Ltd., China Machinery Industry Group Co., Ltd. and other enterprises, and 5 representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China Higher Education Society and other institutions and associations.
The equipment manufacturing industry is a large-scale industry committee, covering 91 specialties such as mechanical design and manufacturing, 17 undergraduate majors such as mechanical engineering, and 24 postgraduate majors such as industrial engineering, involving more than 768,000 graduates in 2021, covering a wide range of graduates' majors and large scale.
In order to give full play to the effectiveness, the Equipment Manufacturing Steering Committee combines the disciplines and industry characteristics, and has set up three steering groups of electronic science, mechanical equipment and carrier equipment to carry out research, consultation, guidance, service and evaluation of college students' employment and entrepreneurship.
