Nowadays, there are many examples like Xiao Wang and Xiao Chen, and as the number of elderly people with disability and dementia gradually grows, there are more and more topics about how to care for and care for these elderly people.
I believe that many families have had this experience, even if they are conflicted in their hearts, they would rather suffer and suffer themselves and take care of the elderly personally.
There are also many people who cannot take care of the elderly personally due to their long-term work in different places, but they miss it in their hearts. This phenomenon is especially common in rural areas, where left-behind elderly people are also reluctant to distract their children too much, and always tell their families that they are fine every time they call.
But there are also some people, blinded by the world of desire, whose only conscience remains, and who will rush to send the elderly with disability and dementia to the nursing home because of all kinds of disgust.
There are people in the world who are cold and warm, the so-called "when the causes meet, the results are still self-inflicted", instead of waiting until life and death are parted, only to regret that "if you can accompany them for a while, it is better to cherish every second of the moment.
Perhaps there are some regrets for Xiao Wang and Xiao Chen, due to the lack of professional knowledge and nursing skills at home, which has led to some negligence. But they have no regrets, and the affection of blood thicker than water allows them to accompany the old man to the end.

Chen Ying (pseudonym) is a worker in a copper smelting plant and a breadwinner of the family. In August 2018, a sudden disaster struck him.

Although after treatment, Chen Ying's condition was controlled, but there was no sign of recovery, and he began to seek medical treatment for two years in the company of his wife.
But two years have passed, and Chen Ying's condition has not completely improved. In order to treat the disease, not only did the money given in the factory run out, but there were also many debts outside. Chen Ying always blamed himself, felt sorry for his wife, and even had the idea of giving up treatment.
One day in September 2020, Chen Ying's wife received a phone call and learned that the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine was carrying out a charity medical assistance program for patients with chronic wounds called "Winning The Wound and Regaining New Skin".
With the mentality of trying it out, Chen Ying's wife went to consult and quickly got a reply. After Han Chunmao, director of the Burn Department of the Second Hospital of Zhejiang University, learned about the situation, he immediately arranged for Chen Ying to be admitted to the hospital for treatment, and contacted the Zhejiang Dingdong Yisheng Health Foundation to help him apply for the first place in the project. On September 15, Chen Ying underwent the first skin grafting operation, and since then his condition has improved rapidly, and on October 12, Chen Ying was successfully discharged from the hospital.
Chen Ying's encounter was unfortunate, after all, no one knew which day the accident would fall on him. But Chen Ying was also lucky, he was rescued by the Second Hospital of Zhejiang University and the Dingdong Yisheng Foundation.
In fact, in life, there are many chronic wound patients, because the wound is small and does not attract attention, resulting in serious consequences. There are also families who have difficult economic conditions, limited mobility and lack of care, and have not been able to receive medical care. According to the statistics of the Ostomy Professional Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association, there are more than 13 million chronic wound patients in the country. It can be seen that the big problems caused by small wounds can no longer be ignored, and we still need to extend more helping hands to help these chronic wound patients.

In life, there may be such children around you: they dare not look at you, dare not communicate with you, dare not interact with you. They will express their emotions, but they will not be able to empathize with you. They can see, hear, and speak, but they are always immersed in their own world, so close to us but far away. They are called "children of the stars", like stars in the sky, twinkling alone in the distant and dark night sky.
They are autistic children or autistic children. Sometimes silent, sometimes with weird, repetitive behavior, and a serious lack of emotional contact with others, parents have worked hard.
Xiao Zhe was born in May 2018, and as he grew up, his parents found that he was "not the same" as other children, and xiao Zhe was diagnosed with moderate autism by doctors.
Then the parents sent Xiao Zhe to a local children's rehabilitation institution, when he first came, Xiao Zhe did not listen to the instructions at all, and when he was not happy, he lay on the ground and cried, shouting "don't don't don't". At the same time, he is not good at communicating with people and is unwilling to participate in group activities. Others also ignore him when they talk to him, have a poor understanding of language, and always imitate others to speak.
Fortunately, after 5 months of study, Xiao Zhe has significantly improved his instructional and communication skills, reduced some obvious stereotypical behaviors, and reduced the abnormal performance of external environmental reactions.
There are 13 million autistic patients like Xiao Zhe in the country, but in the important stage of brain development at the age of 3-6, they cannot grow up optimistically and healthily like ordinary children, and receive signals from the world normally, but need to use the training of professional institutions. However, at present, many autism rehabilitation institutions cannot make a profit, and the turnover rate is high, so there are still many autistic children who do not get the guidance of professional rehabilitation teachers.
I don't know how long it will take for this situation to improve, but I really hope that these "children of the stars" will no longer be lonely. The stars should twinkle, but they don't need to hide far. Hopefully, one day, these autistic children can step out of their world and blend in like ordinary children, with stars twinkling in the world's extended family.

These people, who don't even have a toilet at home, just a small old-fashioned toilet that needs to be poured two or three times a day.

According to the second national sample survey of disabled persons, there are 3.118 million people with various types of disabled people in Zhejiang Province alone, accounting for 6.36% of the total population of the province, involving nearly 1/5 of the families.
In this regard, relevant government departments, agencies and enterprises have been taking action.
In 2015, the "99 Charity Day" was born. This is the first public welfare festival initiated by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Cyberspace Administration of China as the guiding unit, and Tencent Public Welfare, led by tens of thousands of charitable organizations, enterprises, celebrities, media and other social forces, to encourage netizens to make public welfare into a national activity that everyone can participate in through innovative means such as mobile Internet and socialization.
In the past six years, more than 150 million users have donated 6.2 billion yuan to help more than 40,000 public welfare projects.
It is worth noting that in 2020, the self-media partners plan to make their debut during the "99 Charity Day", and a total of more than 150 self-media spontaneously and readers and fans jointly launched an exclusive public welfare team to claim the public welfare project on the Tencent public welfare platform 1V1, jointly support and continue to pay attention to the progress of the public welfare project.
