July 25 of this year marks the 30th anniversary of the 30th anniversary of the listing of five monuments, including the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and the Peking Man Ruins, as a World Cultural Heritage Site. On October 16th, the fifth event of "Day Study in the Central Axis of Beijing" was held in conjunction with the UIREADING Club of the University of International Business and Economics. In front of the bell and drum tower on the last stop of the trip, the students looked up at the flock of birds flying above the drum tower and felt the majesty of the bell tower as the tallest building on the central axis. At the end of the activity, the students said that they had gained a lot, and Mr. Yang Zheng's humorous and humorous explanation provided a rich knowledge reserve for the students to understand and inherit the Culture of Beijing. Winter Olympics reading cheer up run
With the Olympic flame lit and transported to Beijing, the countdown to the 2022 Winter Olympics officially begins. In order to carry forward the Olympic spirit, promote national fitness activities, create a warm atmosphere for the whole people to welcome the Winter Olympics, and guide college students to actively participate in ice and snow sports and understand the knowledge of winter sports, on October 21, Shuxiang China, Beijing Reading Season, College Student Reading Festival, together with the library and youth league committee of Beijing Youth University of Politics, held a theme reading activity with the theme of "Winter Olympic Reading and Running - Welcoming the Winter Olympics and Promoting the Olympic Spirit" in the central square of the college.
The activities are divided into three sections: the Winter Olympics Cheering Run, the Winter Olympics Reading Knowledge Exhibition, and the Winter Olympics Knowledge Answers. The participants first enter the "Winter Olympics Refueling Run" section, start from the central square, complete 1000 meters in 10 minutes, and record the time and trajectory through the mobile phone sports software, upload to get the results, and then receive a blind bag book provided by a college student reading festival. The "Winter Olympic Reading Knowledge Exhibition" section is a selection of 20 Winter Olympic knowledge questions selected by the College Students' Reading Festival, and the organizer hopes that students will harvest the knowledge of the Winter Olympics through browsing and reading, and at the same time warm up for the "Winter Olympic Knowledge Answers" in the third section. The third section requires students to complete 50 questions and answers related to the Winter Olympics in 10 minutes, and each person is given 3 opportunities to answer questions, register with the highest score and give corresponding encouragement.
On the morning of October 21, while the preparations were still in progress, some students from the college had stopped to watch. The activity just began, and the students who signed up for the competition immediately began to cheer up. With the passage of time, more and more students participated. After the end of the first section, the students took out their mobile phones, opened the software, read, searched, answered the questions, and were very busy. By the end of the more than an hour-long activity, more than a hundred students had completed all the sections.
