The Chinese nation's thousands of years of agricultural civilization have made the Chinese people's yearning for the rural life of "Banqiao people crossing the spring, the sunlit day and the chicken chirping" deeply engraved in the bone marrow. However, behind the beautiful imagination of urban people, today's traditional Chinese villages are constantly facing practical problems such as population loss, architectural decadence, lack of information and funds, and aging industries and facilities. In the current revitalization of traditional rural construction and reconstruction of beautiful homes, how to empower traditional villages through new technology platforms, and how to use photography as a means to spread the beauty of traditional villages has become a breakthrough that can be achieved.

According to reports, during the two-day event, in addition to the photographic creation practice of the representative members of the Yangtze River Delta City Photographers Association, the exchange seminar around the topic of traditional rural revitalization was also held at the same time, and the creative practice results in this activity will be disseminated and promoted through the Douyin platform. This is considered to be the excavation and collation of cultural genes of characteristic traditional villages by photography culture and the new technology information platform, and is an attempt to promote the development of rural tourism, cultural tourism and creative industries.
A total of 6 teams participated in the PK competition, from Huzhou, Xuancheng, Jingxian, Hangzhou, Suzhou and Hefei. After the launching ceremony, they set out separately from six traditional villages in Jing County according to the results of the lottery.
Jing County has a history of more than 2,100 years since the beginning of the Han Dynasty, and is known as "Hanjia Old County and Jiangzuo Famous District". Jing County not only has beautiful natural scenery, but also has a profound history and culture, and nature and cultural landscapes reflect each other. There are 6 national key cultural relics protection units and 17 provincial key cultural relics protection units. Famous attractions include Peach Blossom Lake, Taiping Lake, Moon Bay, Chaji Ancient Residential Group, Shuixi Twin Pagodas and Xuan Paper Cultural Park. Among them, rice paper is undoubtedly the most eye-catching cultural label in Jing County. Jing County is the birthplace and authentic production area of rice paper, and the rice paper produced is suitable for books and paintings, not moth and no corruption, and is cherished as a "national treasure".
During the two days of filming, they deeply understood the intangible cultural inheritance such as historical and cultural buildings, folk life rituals and traditional handicrafts in these ancient villages, and based on what they saw, heard and felt, they created through short films, vertical short videos and photo photography. Within the allotted time, each team demonstrated its own abilities, efficiently and with high quality to complete the image creation task.
In the selection of works, when the works submitted by each team are presented to the judges. They have been highly recognized by the judges from their ideas to the use of lens language to the completion of editing. Through comprehensive evaluation, Yang Langzhou from the Xuancheng Photographers Association representative team won the Best Video Award for his work "Memory Peach Blossom Lake" and Liu Bin from the Huzhou Photographers Association Representative Team for his work "Meet Jing County"; Daniel Zhang from the Hangzhou Photographers Association Representative Team won the Best Picture Photography Award for his work "Impression of Huangcun".
