Moreover, if everyone turns on the double flashing lights on rainy days, then the cars that really encounter special circumstances and park on the side of the road with double flashing are easily submerged in the vast double flashing lights, and it is easy to be ignored by the rear car and cause danger.
Secondly, most vehicles are not yet equipped with the priority function of turn signals, and in the case of double flashing lights, the turn signals cannot tell the driving trajectory of the rear car.
What are the cases in which a double flashing lamp should be used?
Not all rain and fog weather can not turn on the double flash (i.e. hazard warning flash), in some special cases, double flash light is still to be used.
Article 81 of the Regulations on the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that when a motor vehicle is driving on a highway and encounters low visibility meteorological conditions such as fog, rain, snow, sand and dust, hail, etc., it shall comply with the following provisions:
(1) When the visibility is less than 200 meters, turn on the fog lights, low beam lights, contour lights and front and rear position lights, and the speed of the vehicle shall not exceed 60 kilometers per hour, and maintain a distance of more than 100 meters from the car in front of the same lane;
(2) When the visibility is less than 100 meters, turn on fog lights, low beam lights, contour lights, front and rear position lights and hazard alarm flash lights, the speed of the vehicle shall not exceed 40 kilometers per hour, and the distance from the car in front of the same lane shall be more than 50 meters;
(3) When the visibility is less than 50 meters, turn on the fog lights, low beam lights, contour lights, front and rear position lights and hazard warning flash lights, the speed of the vehicle shall not exceed 20 kilometers per hour, and drive away from the highway as soon as possible from the nearest exit.
