However, the focus of the writer Xiaohe is not on the appearance of glory, but on the "problem" hidden under the appearance, or the "disease" hidden in the body, in the language of the book. Urban phoenix man, asexual full-time wife, emergency department doctor with different appearances, lonely woman who prefers to live in a fairy tale... They are either rich in material wealth or prosperous in their careers, and although they seem to have everything, in the dark of night, everyone feels that the pain is increasing day by day. Doctors, the only group in the world who have the courage and ability to fight disease and drive away the god of death, in the story of Xiao He, walk down the altar and show people the truest appearance. Perhaps, some of them have also had a low stature for the sake of their careers, and some have been unable to resist the temptation of status and wealth, and finally went with the flow. But all this is wrong, it is human nature. The novel begins with An Mutian being sent to the operating room, and the atmosphere suddenly becomes tense.
