The all-star team's spy action film "Argil" has added another actor a few days ago. It is understood that actor Rob Delaney successfully joined the crew, and he will play against Henry Cavill.

Rob Delaney has long been known as a comedian, but in 2021, his role in "Wrath of Man" gave viewers a glimpse into his ability to star in action movies. Perhaps, this is also the reason why director Matthew Vaughn chose him to join the crew.

"Argil" has a strong cast, in addition to "Super" Cavill, there are Sam Rockwell ("Three Billboards"), Blyth Dallas Howard ("Jurassic World"), "Old White" Brian Colonston, Catherine O'Hara and Samuel Jackson and other starring, "Sister Poppy" Dua Lipa will also participate and write music for the film, which is also her first time electrocuted on the big screen.

Argil will be developed into a series of films, the first of which is now in the pipeline, with plans to make at least three. The film is based on the unpublished novel of Ellie Conway, focusing on the story of "the world's first spy" Argyll. Argil is a woman who has been persuaded to be a best-selling spy novelist because of her amnesia, when in fact she is a world-class spy, and when her memory returns, the lethal skills also come into play, leading her on the path of revenge and confronting the mysterious organization she once worked for. Rockwell is expected to play an agent of the same organization and a lover of Howard. Jackson is expected to play a villainous agent dedicated to exposing corruption within a secret spy network.
