On November 12, the Forest Investigation Brigade of the Hunchun Forest Public Security Bureau received a tip that someone had illegally fished for aquatic products in the main channel of the Mijiang River near the village of Xiawazi in Mijiang Township, Hunchun City. The Forest Investigation Brigade immediately filed a case for investigation. After investigation and visit and viewing video surveillance along the way, the police handling the case found that the suspect drove a Honda brand car when committing the crime. Starting from this car, the police followed the vine to touch the melon, and successfully locked in Pu Mou, a resident of Hunchun City, and Cui Mou and Jin Mou, residents of Tumen City, who were suspected of major crimes.
On November 14, the police handling the case summoned Park, Cui, and Jin to the Hunchun Forest Public Security Bureau for interrogation in accordance with the law. During the fishing process, the three of them discarded the electrocuted fish and forest frogs in the river because they were too small to be caught.
In all fairness. On November 12, when the police handling the case carried out clue mapping near Xiawazi Village, they found that someone was engaged in illegal fishing activities in the main channel of the Mijiang River. The police divided into two roads, closed from both sides of the river, and arrested Wang Mou, who was using a battery fishing device, on the spot. At the scene, vehicles involved in the case, battery fishing equipment and other crime tools and a large number of illegal catches were seized, and after inventory, Wang Mou illegally caught a total of 311 fish and forest frogs (only).
After investigation, the waters where Park, Cui, Jin and Wang carried out illegal fishing are located in the core area of the Mijianghe Henaha National Aquatic Germplasm Resources Conservation Area in Hunchun City, and belong to the annual fishing ban area. The battery fishing vessel used by the four people when committing the crime is a tool that is prohibited by national laws and regulations. Park X, Cui X, Jin X and Wang X disregarded the national fishery laws and regulations and illegally fished for aquatic products in the prohibited fishing area during the fishing ban period, violating the relevant provisions of article 340 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China and suspected of illegal fishing for aquatic products.
At present, Four people, Park X, Cui X, Jin X and Wang X, have been taken by the Hunchun Forest Public Security Bureau to release on guarantee pending further investigation, and the two cases are being further investigated.
