On August 29, 1999, criminal suspect Liang Moumou surrendered to the criminal investigation brigade of the Chongzuo County Public Security Bureau. But at the same time, another criminal suspect, Li Moumou, has been absconding after committing the crime. Over the years, the police handling the case have not given up the investigation of the case, but because of the difficulty of the investigation of the case and the small number of clues, the investigation of the case has reached an impasse, and they have not been able to catch it.

Overcoming difficult factors and adverse effects such as the long time span and long distance span of the case, the police handling the case have successively traveled to Guangdong, Fujian and other places to verify the clues, carry out solid and meticulous investigation work, and look for clues and traces of Li Moumou.

On June 25, 2021, after technical comparison, the police handling the case determined the hiding place of Li Moumou and then arrested it after strict control, and finally the criminal suspect Li Moumou was arrested in Xiangshui Road, Jinfeng Town, Kaizhou District, Chongqing City, and the murder case that had been deposited for many years was finally solved.
After interrogation, Li Confessed to Deliberately Injuring Liang to Death in 1999. Now the suspect Li Moumou has been detained in the Chongzuo City Detention Center.
Justice may be late, but it will never be absent. "People's public security for the people" is by no means a slogan, but a solemn commitment and responsibility of Jiangzhou public security to guard peace!
