q: Please briefly introduce your own experience.

Before joining Jiawei, I worked in government departments and commercial arbitration institutions for nearly 30 years, during which I had experience in participating in the formulation of laws and regulations, popularizing legal publicity, consulting legal experts, compiling legal professional journals, resolving disputes in commercial arbitration, and commercial mediation. It can be said that in the field of legal profession, I have been involved in legislation, law enforcement supervision, legal publicity, jurisprudence research, and adjudication practice. I believe that after joining Garvi Institute, I will definitely enrich my legal career experience and make my legal career more complete.

q: Seeing that you have a lot of experience in the industry, what kind of opportunity did you choose to join Garway Law Firm?

By chance, I got to know Garvisuo and decided to join.

Previously, I have been engaged in legal professional services as a manager or referee for a long time, and my doctoral supervisor, Professor Shen Sibao of the University of International Business and Economics, once said that "the true meaning of law is practice", which I always keep in mind. Therefore, I hope that I will start again, change an angle in the second half of my life, continue to work in the field of legal professional practice, change a role to continue to provide legal professional services to society, and contribute to the construction of China's socialist rule of law society. I believe that as a professional legal person, you should have such a sense of responsibility and mission.

q: What are your main responsibilities at Garway Law Firm?

Garvi has a legal research department, and I am the head of this department. The work of the Legal Research Department consists of three main parts:

The first is professional assessment, establish a scientific internal risk control system and normative system, and take "standardizing case collection, reasonable distribution, team combat, and coordinated case handling" as the basic principle to improve the service level and professional ability of the legal team.

The second is professional research, taking the department as a platform, integrating available resources, combining business development dynamics to carry out theoretical and practical research, building a cutting-edge research platform, organizing professional forces to study internal legal issues in detail, emphasizing the combination of learning and work, learning and improving on the job, promoting work in learning, and building a learning law firm with ideals, ambitions and beliefs with partners and backbone lawyers as the core.

The third is professional training, the absorption and maintenance of excellent lawyers is the first productive force of the sustainable development of the law firm, and the success and development of the law firm depends on the collective wisdom and cohesion of the professional lawyer team. We will gradually explore the establishment of a systematic talent training and education mechanism, build a team of professional lawyers with expertise, and establish and improve the echelon talent pool.

q: After all this time together, what is your impression of Jiawei?

As a new recruit in the team of lawyers, I came to Jiawei Law Firm, and I mainly had three feelings:

First of all, Jiawei was founded in 1998, after more than 20 years of development and change, it is still full of vitality and vitality, the existing legal team is young and capable, full of professional experience and creativity, is a professional service team that can fight a hard battle.

Secondly, full of opportunities and challenges, coming to Jiawei Institute for just a few months has greatly broadened my professional horizons, and every day I will encounter new knowledge and new problems in different legal professional fields, which is both pressure and motivation, which prompts me to continuously absorb and learn and consolidate the professional knowledge and professional skills that I have not been familiar with before, and seek solutions to problems from different perspectives in accordance with laws and regulations, objectively and rationally. At the same time, I always urge myself to have a reverence for the law as a professional legal person.

Finally, it is our mission to help clients "manage risk, facilitate transactions, and resolve disputes".
