Two thousand new books were destroyed because of Lin Jialong's stepping down, and the Taiwan media criticized: The DPP's mountain head killed red eyes

The "Shipping Bureau, the competent department of transportation of the DPP authorities," previously commissioned Taiwan picture book author Ma Ma Chen (real name Chen Minyu) to create "The Man Guarding the Sea." Unexpectedly, in late April this year, Lin Jialong, the former head of the competent department of transportation, stepped down due to the "Taroko" accident, and the "Port Bureau" immediately urgently requested a reprint and replaced the part with Lin Jialong's preface. After the matter was exposed by the author of the picture book, the "Port Bureau" confirmed yesterday (21) that two thousand new books had been destroyed, and the printing cost reached 300,000 yuan (NT$, the same below). "Director of the Port of Shipping" Ye Xielong said that he had asked for punishment, and Wang Guocai, the head of the competent department of transportation, argued yesterday that he did not know that the new book was printed, which should be a misunderstanding among colleagues.

Chen Minyu, the author of the picture book, broke the news on Facebook, pointing out that after Wang Guocai took office, the "Shipping Bureau" immediately issued an urgent notice, saying that he requested the reprinting of "The Man Who Guards the Sea" because the person in charge had been replaced. Chen Minyu believes that the content of the picture book has not changed at all, and the two thousand copies printed before may be destroyed, which is worthy of being the "chief's biggest".

Wang Guocai yesterday attended a special report by the "Transportation Committee" of the legislature of the DPP authorities on the high-speed rail extension plan, and "legislator" Qiu Chenyuan asked about this matter. Wang defended that when he took office on April 20, he saw that the books of each "bureau" of the transportation department would be published by the person in charge or write a preface and paste photos, and he declared to the "bureaus" at that time that there was no need to put the photos of the responsible persons on the home page in the future, and the "bureaus" would work hard to develop, and he did not know that "The Man Who Guards the Sea" had been printed.

"Legislator" Qiu Chenyuan asked whether to reprint two thousand copies, and Ye Xielong confirmed that because the manufacturer had no way to directly exchange part of the contents (referring to the part written by Lin Jialong), he reprinted it; as for the old version, he asked the "Shipping Bureau" colleagues the day before yesterday, and the colleagues were originally kept in the warehouse, and yesterday morning he went to the office to understand and found that it had been destroyed in non-confidential official documents, and the reprint fee was 300,000 yuan.

Chen Minyu posted on Facebook at noon yesterday, directly shouting to Wang Guocai that Ye Xielong patted his chest the night before to ensure that it had not been destroyed, and everyone was welcome to ask for it; as a result, after being questioned by all parties yesterday morning, the "Port Bureau" admitted that two thousand books had been destroyed at the end of September. "I don't know if you (referring to Wang Guocai) have been deceived or are running away!"

Chen Jiaohua, a "legislator" who also questioned the matter, said that it is a pity that the book should not be destroyed; as for who should pay the 300,000 yuan? Chen Jiaohua said that public funds should not be used, and the person who destroyed it or the person who signed it should be allowed to pay for it, and since Wang Guocai had already said that it was not him, then the "director" should come out. Not only that, but the director should also apologize to the picture book author.

Taiwan's "China Times Electronic News" published an article on this matter, pointing out that the small and big two incidents that occurred after Lin Jialong's resignation made people "understand" the essence of the DPP. First of all, the picture book written by Lin Jialong, as soon as he stepped off the stage, he was asked to destroy and reprint it, and the small picture book showed the bureaucratic culture of the DPP; in addition, as Lin Jialong left, the Yilan station of the high-speed railway that he preferred was also overturned into a four-city station.

The Taiwan media believe that the internal situation of who ordered the reprinting or who figured out the intention is probably unknown, and in fact it is not important, but it is seen that the DPP has also embarked on such a bureaucratic culture: It is always more important to be a person than to do things.

The picture book incident is still only a face project, and the extension of the high-speed rail to Yilan is a naked conflict of interest. Lin Jialong is the head of the DPP's "main congress" faction, wang Guocai is arranged by Su Zhenchang, head of the administrative department of the DPP authorities, and Wang Guocai has a background in the "new trend" system.

Therefore, the yilan station of the high-speed railway has also been overturned into a four-city station, which has surpassed the personality traits of Lin Jialong and Wang Guocai, or the level of good relations between the two, but the DPP has long been "mountainized", and as soon as there is a conflict of interest, the people of various factions will kill the red eye.

Taiwan media believe that bureaucratic culture erodes the enthusiasm of DPP civil servants, and hilltop culture erodes the interests of the people. Who would have thought that the DPP would be so disfigured by the "non-party figures" who wore straw shoes back then? (Lin Jingxian/Editor)
