According to the New York Post reported on the 2nd, a 15-year-old boy in Virginia, USA, sexually assaulted a female classmate was convicted, and his mother said that her son did not consider himself a woman. Previously, the sexual assault incident sparked a heated debate in the United States about transgender men entering women's restrooms and led to the victim's father being labeled a "domestic terrorist."

The mother told the Daily Mail: "He is a 15-year-old boy who wants to have sex with someone who wants to do it in the toilet." To protect her underage son, the mother asked for anonymity. "But people are distorting this to make it a political hot-button issue," she added.

Earlier this year, the father of the girl victim was arrested at the scene of a school board meeting in Louden County, which sparked a political storm in the United States.

Scott Smith claimed that his daughter was attacked by a "skirt-wearing" boy in the women's restroom, which sparked strong opposition to Louden County's policy of allowing transgender students to use bathrooms that conform to their gender identity.

However, according to the Washington Post, the policy was implemented only a few months after the sexual assault case in May.

In a letter to the White House, the National Association of School Boards cited Smith's arrest as an example of a "direct threat" that "amounts to some form of domestic terrorism and hate crime."

However, the boy's mother said in an interview with the Daily Mail that although the boy's style was somewhat "hermaphrodite" and declared herself "pansexual", her son was simply "trying to find himself". She said: "I believe he did it because it gave him the attention he desperately needed and sought. ”

The mother insisted that her son did not disguise himself in a skirt in order to sneak into the women's restroom, saying he "would wear a skirt today and jeans and a t-shirt, polo shirt or hoodie tomorrow." But the mother also admitted that her son bothered her and cited a history of his bad behavior, including sending her nude photos to a fifth-grade girl.

Last week, the chief judge of the Lawton County Juvenile Court found enough evidence to support the juvenile's allegations that he had engaged in forced sexual acts against a 15-year-old classmate. This ruling amounts to a juvenile court conviction of the boy, whose identity has not been made public for reasons of age.
