Recently, in order to make the "fresh blood" more solid and bright red, a certain radar brigade in the eastern theater specially organized a 100-day pre-job training for newly grown cadres. The new platoon commanders span the three seasons of summer, autumn and winter, traveling to many places and quenching into steel in the tempering.
The new platoon commander is an officer and a soldier, and it is impossible to talk about the position of competent officer before the beginning of the soldier. Bachelor's degree, master's degree, first of all, be a good soldier; second lieutenant lieutenant captain, first of all, competent for the post. Only by practicing the basic skills of performing duties well can we be good leaders at the grass-roots level.
Strong roots, back to the sentinel position
According to the training schedule, the guard service company is the first stop for the new platoon commanders, who need to undergo a month-long "private" training here. After being assigned to the squad platoon, the squad leaders personally changed them to the rank of "one turn" of the rank of private. From "one lever" to "one turn", what has changed is identity, and what has not changed is the ideal and belief of being committed to the military camp and taking root in the grass-roots level. They trained with the company with the rank of a private, stood guard together, and learned to lean down and roll up their sleeves; to look up at the stars and be down-to-earth. The darkening skin of the new platoon leaders and the increasingly distinct edges and corners are witnesses to growth.
Grasp it bit by bit and refine it into cultivation

Driving in the middle of the endless mountain road, the blue waves in the distance, the near full of lush eyes, not far away the radar radome stands like a straight sentry. Driving along the winding road, the renovated company dormitory building under the blue sky and white clouds comes into view. This is the second stop for the new platoon leaders, who, according to the training arrangement, will go deep into the grass-roots company here to experience the service of squad leader and platoon leader.
Backbone duty, overall planning
At this stage, the intensive training is aimed at the needs of the post, adopts company management and scene-based teaching, allows the new platoon commander to take turns to serve as the duty commander, starts from the subtleties such as commanding and leading the team, assembling out exercises, naming and investigating people, and organizing songs, and tempers the comprehensive ability and quality of the new platoon leader in the practice of the post.

In order to help the new platoon leader find the role positioning and shorten the first job adaptation period, instructor Li Li organized a collective heart-to-heart talk to carefully answer the doubts in the heart of the new platoon leader. He said: "No one can get something for nothing, and no one can always escape" "The best way to overcome difficulties is to face difficulties" and "Make a long-term determination not to always make a determination." Simple words, simple but loud, aroused the enthusiasm of the new platoon leaders. Finally, the instructor used "soldiers who don't want to be generals are not good soldiers" to encourage comrades not only to look up at the stars and make long-term aspirations, but also to roll up their sleeves and do a good job in a down-to-earth manner.
During the training period, the platoon leaders were thinking, strict style, grasping combat readiness, learning equipment, practicing skills, adding steel and quenching, and "polishing" in an all-round way from the inside to the outside. From academies and universities to grass-roots units, from books to actual combat, from classrooms to the battlefield, they focused on the needs of their posts, laid a solid ideological foundation, improved their ability to organize and train and teach, lead and manage troops, actively faced difficulties and challenges, worked hard to give play to their superiority and expertise, and with firm ideals and convictions, full of lofty ambitions and pride, and tenacious will to fight, sounded the clarion call of the times for a strong army, and blossomed the flower of snow lotus on high mountains and islands.
