Ajax believes internally that Onana has reached an agreement with a foreign team

According to Dutch journalist Frek Jansen, Ajax believes that goalkeeper Onana has reached an agreement with a foreign team.

Ajax believes Onana is ready to leave on a free transfer after his contract expires next summer and has accepted an agreement from another club with close ties to Inter. Freek Jansen said Ajax had accepted the decision to let Onana leave the team and there was a belief within the club that Onana had found his next home.

Onana has been considered Inter's successor to Handanovic, on which Onana has become one of Inter's target players, and being able to get a young goalkeeper without a visa is also very attractive for Inter.

Previously, there were rumors that Onana and Inter were linked, and it was reported that people around the player were in talks with Inter. Onana said he would remain loyal to Ajax, who is currently playing.

Freek Jansen said Ajax boss Tenhag said Onana would leave the team before the summer window closed, but in the end the summer window did not leave. But now the question becomes interesting, because in the interview Tenhag once again opened the door for the player to leave the team. Ajax was fairly certain internally that Onana did sign a pre-contract with a foreign club and the player would receive a large signing fee.
