Xuyi Lobster Entrepreneurship Academy is the first institution in China to train lobster technicians, through school-school cooperation, school-enterprise cooperation, school-government cooperation, open enrollment to the society, the number of free online training every year exceeds 100,000 people, and the annual offline elite class trains more than 1,000 people.

In order to overcome the problem of optimal breeding and screening of rice varieties under the shrimp-rice symbiosis mode, the "Academician Zhang Hongcheng Workstation" was established in Xuyi together with Academician Zhang Hongcheng, and the academician team has been stationed in Xuyi for many years to study rice varieties.
2. Establish Xuyi Lobster Industry Research Institute. The Freshwater Fisheries Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Water Sciences, Shanghai Ocean University, Nanjing Agricultural University, Jiangnan University, etc. jointly established the Xuyi Lobster Industry Research Institute to study lobster seedlings, lobster processing and other problems restricting the development of the lobster industry.
