　　2024年第11期《求是》杂志刊发了工业和信息化部党组书记、部长金壮龙文章，强调要深入学习贯彻习近平总书记关于发展新质生产力的重要论述，牢牢把握实现新型工业化这个关键任务，加快发展新质生产力，深入推进新型工业化，推动高质量发展，为中国式现代化提供坚实的物质技术基础。

　　The article by Jin Zhuanglong, Minister and Secretary of the CPC Leadership Group of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, was published in this year’s 11th issue of Qiushi Journal. It emphasizes that it is imperative to study and implement the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on developing new quality productive forces. To effectively accomplish new industrialization, we should accelerate the development of new quality productive forces and promote high-quality development, thus providing a solid material and technological foundation for Chinese modernization.

　　2023年以来，习近平总书记就发展新质生产力作出一系列重要论述，深刻回答了“什么是新质生产力、为什么要发展新质生产力、怎样发展新质生产力”等重大理论和实践问题。

　　Since 2023, General Secretary Xi Jinping has put forward a series of important expositions concerning new quality productive forces and provided thorough answers to the major theoretical and practical questions of what new quality productive forces are, why they should be developed, and how this should be done.

　　习近平总书记关于发展新质生产力的重要论述，以全新视野深化中国共产党对生产力发展规律的认识，对马克思主义生产力理论的发展作出原创性贡献，进一步丰富了习近平经济思想，为推进新型工业化提供了行动指南和根本遵循。

　　These statements on this idea, as a further enrichment of Xi Jinping’s economic thought, have provided new insights for the CPC’s understanding of the laws underlying productivity development. They have made original contributions to the development of Marxist theories on productivity and served as an action guide and fundamental principles for advancing new industrialization.

　　党的二十大报告明确提出，坚持把发展经济的着力点放在实体经济上，推进新型工业化，加快建设制造强国。

　　The report to the 20th National Congress announced that in pursuing economic growth, we must continue to focus on the real economy.

　　新时代新征程上，我们必须把思想和行动统一到习近平总书记重要讲话精神和党中央决策部署上来，牢牢把握高质量发展这个首要任务，在创新、产业、转型、企业等多层面协同发力，加快发展新质生产力，塑造新动能新优势，推进大陆产业加快迈向全球价值链中高端，不断开创新型工业化发展新局面。

　　We will advance new industrialization and move faster to boost China’s strength in manufacturing. On the new journey in the new era, we must align our thoughts and actions with the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and the decisions of the CPC Central Committee, and focus on our primary task of high-quality development. Through coordinated efforts to promote transformation and innovation in industries and enterprises, we will accelerate the development of new quality productive forces, and foster new growth drivers and new strengths, which can help our industries move faster to the medium-high end of the global value chain and thus open up new frontiers for new industrialization.

　　生产关系必须与生产力发展要求相适应。习近平总书记强调：“发展新质生产力，必须进一步全面深化改革，形成与之相适应的新型生产关系。”

　　Production relations must be adapted to the requirements of the development of productive forces. Xi Jinping emphasizes that “to develop new quality productive forces, we must deepen reform, with a view to fostering a new set of well-adapted production relations.”

　　要坚持向改革要动力、向开放要活力，大力推进制度创新，推动有效市场和有为政府更好结合，打通束缚新质生产力发展的堵点卡点，提高资源配置效率，完善产业治理体系，营造良好发展环境，让各类先进优质生产要素向发展新质生产力顺畅流动，为发展新质生产力、推进新型工业化提供强大动力支撑。

　　We must seek impetus from reform and vitality from opening up, while vigorously promoting institutional innovations and facilitating a better integration of an efficient market and a capable government. Through our efforts to clear away obstacles and bottlenecks that restrain the development of new quality productive forces, we will enhance resource allocation efficiency and improve the industrial governance system. Benefiting from this, a favorable environment for development will be fostered, in which smooth flow of advanced and high-quality production factors into the development of new quality productive forces is ensured, and a powerful engine for fostering new quality productive forces and advancing new industrialization will be provided.
